HE NEVER REJECTS YOU

HE NEVER REJECTS YOU John 6:24-40  Devotional:- “All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]” (V 37) AMPC Sometimes we imagine God in our mind with the understanding and the likeness of men. We view Him as someone we have to really beg to ever experience His favour or help. The truth is that there are several reasons responsible for this. One of them is that man, by his nature, could reject a fellow man. So when we think of coming to God or returning to Him, we feel in our mind that we are too bad to be accepted. We need to understand that our feelings about God cannot be the best way to describe Him, like His word. Even though we feel like that, yet, the word of God, which is the truth, says, whoever comes to Him, He will never reject. He is never interested in the death of a sinner but that he repents and be saved (Ezekiel 18:23). This is part...

DESTROYER OF STRENGTH

DESTROYER OF STRENGTH

Joshua 7:2-12
Devotional:-“Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they have become doomed to destruction. Neither will I be with you anymore, unless you destroy the accursed from among you.” (V. 12) NKJV

The God of heaven is great amidst the children of Israel (Isaiah 12:6). This made them conquer their enemies and possess the land of promise. Among other cities, they conquered Jericho (Joshua 6). God promised to be with them all through to conquer all other cities.

With this assurance, they went against the small city of Ai, but they were destroyed and they ran away wondering on the reason God’s strength suddenly disappeared from among them. Joshua sought the face of the Lord and God said: Israel has sinned against Him. Achan had sin the sin of covetousness. This is at the root of the corruption in many nations today

Beloved, sin is a major thing that can destroy God’s strength in your life. Have you noticed a downward trend in God’s presence in your life? Examine yourself, and take away every sin no matter how small. Humble yourself to ask for His forgiveness and you will see yourself bounce back again.

PRAYER: LORD, GIVE ME THE GRACE TO LIVE ABOVE THE SIN OF GREED.

“SIN SAPS STRENGTH”
