  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. INTEREST OF OTHERS           

Philippians 2:1-4
Devotional Verse: -“Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others” (V. 4)


   As servants of God, it is important we cultivate the attitude of thinking of others first. It is normal for every man to want to think of himself more. This is what we call the good human life. But true servants put the interest of others at heart. Remember, God consider our motive and intention than our action (Matthew 12:8-9).
 
   The word of God says, we should not only look out for our own interest but the interest of others. This is a sign of true humility and love. This is what is lost in the world today. But this is what Jesus meant when He says we must deny self. (Matthew 16:25). In other word, you are not full of self but you have space for others in your thinking. It is when we empty ourselves for the good of others that we truly invest in service. God hates people calling attention to themselves. This is manipulation and not ministry.
 
   Friend, it is wrong for anyone to try and use God for self-goal. True servants allow God to use them to fulfill the purpose and help others. Someone said, our level of servant-hood can be measured by how we respond when others treat us like servants (Matthew 5:41). This is how we can fulfill the purpose of God in our services and our services reward-able before God. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, give me a true servant’s heart for others.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
