WILLING SACRIFICES

WILLING SACRIFICES 1 Chronicles 29:1-9 Devotional:‐ “Then the people rejoiced, for they had offered willingly, because with a loyal heart they had offered willingly to the LORD; and King David also rejoiced greatly” (v.9) NKJV Generations of men have always misunderstood giving. To them it looks like they are reducing when God is asking them to give. Also, most people have not come to the understanding that we are creatures made to find fulfilment only when we give. You need to observe that orange is a waste when no one suck it. Also, life will be a waste when it benefits no one. If you really want joy, one of the strongest sources is a sense of fulfilment (sense of success). And this can only come when you have joyfully given unto the Lord or others (2 Timothy 4:6). That is, when you have willingly flowed out to others. The people we read about today were challenged to give willingly to the work of the Lord. And this brought them great joy. See, the greatest moment of your life ...

EXPERIENCE

EXPERIENCE

2 Corinthians 1:1-11
Devotional Verse:- “For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ” (V. 5)

Part of the instruments of service to God in our lives is our experiences of life. It is not just for fun that God allows you to go through all you have gone through. He is making you to go through all you are going through because He wants to use you to help others out of their troubles. You really cannot help people out of what you have not gone through before.

We can see in the word of God multitude of different experiences passed through by Apostle Paul and his team. All of these cumulate to the richness in the writings of Apostle Paul and his team. The same is applicable to you too. Your destiny in God demands that you go through some hard times. God allow them to create a mode for your purpose of service to your world (Hebrews 5:8). Each of your experiences in your family and in your marriage; your experiences in your school and where you work, your experiences in your walk with God and in the church, your experiences in your businesses. Your pains, problems, hurts, thorns and trials. They are what makes you rich in been a blessing to others.

Friend, stop getting embitter at God because of your experiences in life. Don't turn negative either (Hebrews 12:5-11). Don't grow a bitter heart, it only produces a bitter life (Hebrews 12:15). It's important you see that the plan of God for you is good and not evil (Jeremiah 29:11). Look at the lessons you have learnt and use them to help others out and you shall be a blessing to your generation. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, reveal your blessings to me in my pain.

IF LIFE NOT IS PAINFUL, IT WILL NOT BE GAINFUL”
