  PROMISES Isaiah 55:1-13  Devotional:- “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (V.11) NKJV One thing that is common with lovers are promises. It is part of what a true lover will want to hear. To a true lover, a promise is like a cheque capable of turning into cash. So when people who love us promise us, we cherish the promises. And when we remember them, it gladdens our heart. We even sometime feel happy enough to share it with other friends. One other terrible thing that is common with people is failing to fulfill promises. That is why it will be unwise to marry someone based on mare promises. These failure in promises of people, in some cases, are due to the inadequacy of human strength, or unforeseen circumstances that can overtake the promises, so the promised often feel deceived. WHAT IS SERVICE?         

Deuteronomy 10:12-22
Devotional Verse:-"And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul” (V. 12)



    Service is the act of been a blessing or a help to others. This is possible by the influence of a right spirit. The purpose of the creation of man is that God might use man to fulfill His plan on earth. Service is therefore an act of been used by a force to achieve a goal.  You are in the service of whatever force that influences you. Making oneself available to be used by the Lord to affect others is serving the Lord. Serving the Lord is making yourself available to be used by God to establish His will on earth (Luke 11:2).


    The word of God says that all that the Lord requires from us is to fear the Lord, to walk in His ways, to love Him and to serve Him with all our heart. Man is made wonderfully complex in composition (Psalms 139:14). The reason for all of these is that we might serve the Lord. Service is allowing God to work through you to bless others. It is to attend to the need of others with your ability and grace. It is to work to bring a solution to a given situation. Someone is solving technology problems and others are solving automobile problems. There is a problem you are sent to solve.

   Friend, what will make you your best is when you get involved in service. The beauty of a man is in the place of service. This is because; you are made for this purpose. Service is using your gifts, talents and special abilities to be a blessing to others around you. It is using your opportunities and strength to bless others. Whatever you have and wherever you are today, God has made you so in order that others might become blessed through your life. Peace!!!

PRAYER: Lord, make me a vessel of blessing to others all my life

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
