  SPECIAL CHILDREN Proverbs 23:15-25  Devotional:- “Do not let your heart envy sinners, But be zealous for the fear of the LORD all the day” (V.17) NKJV Today, the lives of children in most nations are becoming a great trouble. Many parents have lost control of their children. But in the midst of these hopeless situations of the future generation, yet some children allow the word of God to rule their lives, such children have the fear of God in them. These are children who keep a wise heart and who have learnt the right use of their lips. Who don’t open their lip to speak just anything but the truth and wisdom (Proverbs 23:16). These are children who don’t envy the way of sin, nor do they get themselves involved in the sinful nature of this generation. Rather, they fear the Lord, and this affects everything they do (Proverbs 23:17). WHAT IS SERVICE?         

Deuteronomy 10:12-22
Devotional Verse:-"And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul” (V. 12)



    Service is the act of been a blessing or a help to others. This is possible by the influence of a right spirit. The purpose of the creation of man is that God might use man to fulfill His plan on earth. Service is therefore an act of been used by a force to achieve a goal.  You are in the service of whatever force that influences you. Making oneself available to be used by the Lord to affect others is serving the Lord. Serving the Lord is making yourself available to be used by God to establish His will on earth (Luke 11:2).


    The word of God says that all that the Lord requires from us is to fear the Lord, to walk in His ways, to love Him and to serve Him with all our heart. Man is made wonderfully complex in composition (Psalms 139:14). The reason for all of these is that we might serve the Lord. Service is allowing God to work through you to bless others. It is to attend to the need of others with your ability and grace. It is to work to bring a solution to a given situation. Someone is solving technology problems and others are solving automobile problems. There is a problem you are sent to solve.

   Friend, what will make you your best is when you get involved in service. The beauty of a man is in the place of service. This is because; you are made for this purpose. Service is using your gifts, talents and special abilities to be a blessing to others around you. It is using your opportunities and strength to bless others. Whatever you have and wherever you are today, God has made you so in order that others might become blessed through your life. Peace!!!

PRAYER: Lord, make me a vessel of blessing to others all my life

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
