  GROWING Ephesians 4:9-16 Devotional:- “But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head of Christ” (V. 15) God’s plan and desire is that we grow up. So many Christian today are growing older but not growing up. Many are stocked in perpetual spiritual infancy. This is because they never intend to grow. Spiritual growth is not automatic, it takes intentional commitment. You must want to grow, decide to grow, make an effort and persist in growing. Discipleship is the process of becoming like Christ (Matthew 10:25). In your spiritual growth, God has a part and you have a part. To be Christ-like you will need to make Christ like choices and depend on the Holy Spirit to help you fulfill those choices. The moment you are ready, you will need to let go of some old routines and develop some new habits. You will need to intentionally change the way you are thinking (Philippians 2:12-13). WHAT IS SERVICE?         

Deuteronomy 10:12-22
Devotional Verse:-"And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul” (V. 12)



    Service is the act of been a blessing or a help to others. This is possible by the influence of a right spirit. The purpose of the creation of man is that God might use man to fulfill His plan on earth. Service is therefore an act of been used by a force to achieve a goal.  You are in the service of whatever force that influences you. Making oneself available to be used by the Lord to affect others is serving the Lord. Serving the Lord is making yourself available to be used by God to establish His will on earth (Luke 11:2).


    The word of God says that all that the Lord requires from us is to fear the Lord, to walk in His ways, to love Him and to serve Him with all our heart. Man is made wonderfully complex in composition (Psalms 139:14). The reason for all of these is that we might serve the Lord. Service is allowing God to work through you to bless others. It is to attend to the need of others with your ability and grace. It is to work to bring a solution to a given situation. Someone is solving technology problems and others are solving automobile problems. There is a problem you are sent to solve.

   Friend, what will make you your best is when you get involved in service. The beauty of a man is in the place of service. This is because; you are made for this purpose. Service is using your gifts, talents and special abilities to be a blessing to others around you. It is using your opportunities and strength to bless others. Whatever you have and wherever you are today, God has made you so in order that others might become blessed through your life. Peace!!!

PRAYER: Lord, make me a vessel of blessing to others all my life

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
