  GOOD REPORT   Proverbs 15:28-33 Devotional:- “The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, And a good report makes the bones healthy” (v.30) NKJV Today, in the whole world, the only kind of news celebrated by men is bad news. The reporters have also realised that people want bad news. So, they hardly report good things. If you listen to the news, read from the media or browse through the net, it is all about evil things happening all over the world. This is the trick of the enemy to cage the sons of men into sorrow and break the flow of joy in the lives of the people. The scripture we read today says, “good report makes the heart glad”. You must recognise the principle of a joyful life. It is a product of regular joyful reports (Proverbs 25:25). It is what you love to hear that your life will look like (Mark 4:24). you must know you are a product of what you are hearing. WHAT IS SERVICE?         

Deuteronomy 10:12-22
Devotional Verse:-"And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul” (V. 12)



    Service is the act of been a blessing or a help to others. This is possible by the influence of a right spirit. The purpose of the creation of man is that God might use man to fulfill His plan on earth. Service is therefore an act of been used by a force to achieve a goal.  You are in the service of whatever force that influences you. Making oneself available to be used by the Lord to affect others is serving the Lord. Serving the Lord is making yourself available to be used by God to establish His will on earth (Luke 11:2).


    The word of God says that all that the Lord requires from us is to fear the Lord, to walk in His ways, to love Him and to serve Him with all our heart. Man is made wonderfully complex in composition (Psalms 139:14). The reason for all of these is that we might serve the Lord. Service is allowing God to work through you to bless others. It is to attend to the need of others with your ability and grace. It is to work to bring a solution to a given situation. Someone is solving technology problems and others are solving automobile problems. There is a problem you are sent to solve.

   Friend, what will make you your best is when you get involved in service. The beauty of a man is in the place of service. This is because; you are made for this purpose. Service is using your gifts, talents and special abilities to be a blessing to others around you. It is using your opportunities and strength to bless others. Whatever you have and wherever you are today, God has made you so in order that others might become blessed through your life. Peace!!!

PRAYER: Lord, make me a vessel of blessing to others all my life

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
