  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. PURPOSE OF SERVICE      

Acts 13:26-41
Devotional Verse:-"For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption” (V. 36)



   God, who made man, made him to serve Him to fulfilling His plan. God made and packaged man to be able to influence him to carry out His agenda on earth. Man is made to serve God to fulfill the plan of God and to fulfill his destiny and his part in the divine agenda.


   The word of God told us of the example of David who serve God in his generation. This is what is expected of us. We are to serve God by serving our generation. There lies our reward both here and in eternity. Man is made to be influenced, inspired and move to action by the Spirit of God (Job 32:8; 2 Peter 1:21). The purpose of service is to let God use us to solve problems. Every great event witnessed on earth is by the move and the inspiration of the spirit. But man today is ignorantly submitting to the move of the spirit of the devil (Romans 1:28). That is why all kinds of terrible thing are heard in the world today.

   Friend, you need to be conscious of your decision to serve the Lord and let Him alone use you for the good of the world. Many today have gone serving the devil in the name of money (1 Timothy 6:10). Yes, we all need money but not to make it in a wicked way. It will take the influence of an evil spirit for a man to have an idea to kill or destroy others to make money (John 10:10). In serving the Lord we will become a comfort and joy to each other. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, make me a vessel of solution to my world

“SERVICE TO THE LORD WILL BRING THE WORLD TO COMFORT”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
