HE NEVER REJECTS YOU

HE NEVER REJECTS YOU John 6:24-40  Devotional:- “All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]” (V 37) AMPC Sometimes we imagine God in our mind with the understanding and the likeness of men. We view Him as someone we have to really beg to ever experience His favour or help. The truth is that there are several reasons responsible for this. One of them is that man, by his nature, could reject a fellow man. So when we think of coming to God or returning to Him, we feel in our mind that we are too bad to be accepted. We need to understand that our feelings about God cannot be the best way to describe Him, like His word. Even though we feel like that, yet, the word of God, which is the truth, says, whoever comes to Him, He will never reject. He is never interested in the death of a sinner but that he repents and be saved (Ezekiel 18:23). This is part...

GIFTS AND TALENTS

GIFTS AND TALENTS

Matthew 25:14-30
Devotional Verse: -“And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey” (V. 15)

Everyone made by the Lord is packaged with talents. It is not easy to find someone with one talent. Most people are multi-talented. Talents and gifts are what God has built in us to become our focus of passion. The talents are inborn with us and the gifts came with the Holy Spirit that God gave to us as believers (Acts 2:38).

Jesus gave a parable about a man who wanted to travel to a far country. He then gave talents to His servants expecting them to trade with it (Luke 19:13). One was given five talents, another two and the last, one talent. The master expects them to know what to do with it; the same with each of us today. One of them buried his own talent because he felt the master did not like him by given him one. Yet, the master knew their different abilities (Matthew 25:15). God expects you to serve Him with your gifts and talents. But you must be careful to identify yours.

To identify your gifts and talents becomes easy when you can get involved in the service of God. It becomes an opportunity to discover what you are good at doing. Most great musicians in our world discover their gifts as they join to sing in the Choir. Most great teachers of the word of God started to know that they can do it as they either join children teachers or Sunday school teachers in their church. Find a place of interest to serve the Lord. And you will become great in life. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me not to burry my talents.
