  PROMISES Isaiah 55:1-13  Devotional:- “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (V.11) NKJV One thing that is common with lovers are promises. It is part of what a true lover will want to hear. To a true lover, a promise is like a cheque capable of turning into cash. So when people who love us promise us, we cherish the promises. And when we remember them, it gladdens our heart. We even sometime feel happy enough to share it with other friends. One other terrible thing that is common with people is failing to fulfill promises. That is why it will be unwise to marry someone based on mare promises. These failure in promises of people, in some cases, are due to the inadequacy of human strength, or unforeseen circumstances that can overtake the promises, so the promised often feel deceived. A BLESSING           

Genesis 12:1-9
Devotional Verse: -“I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing” (V. 2)



    God made every person to be a blessing on the earth. To be a blessing on earth is to be used by God to strengthen, build and help others out of trouble. It is to encourage others and be a solution to their problems. When people get involved in serving the Lord, they become a blessing to their generation (Isaiah 60:15)

   When God asked Abraham to depart from his family to another place, He promised that He will make him a blessing. God has blessed every man, but it is only when we serve Him that we become a blessing. In this world, it is either a man is a blessing or a burden. So, choosing to serve the Lord in all you do is a choice to be a blessing.

   Friend, your involvement in the service of God makes you a blessing to others. This turns you to a person of value. This makes you a desire of all the people around. A man can only be a blessing when he is sowing the seed of blessing which is through service. That is why service enlist you in the school of greatness (Mark 10:44-45). Only the people who love to be a solution will find enough blessing of the Lord. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, make me a vessel of blessing to my generation 

“A LIFE IS EITHER A BLESSING OR A BURDEN”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
