  SELF ENCOURAGEMENT Luke 15:11-24 Devotional:- “I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you,” (v.18) NKJV So many people in the world today are groaning in sorrow under the pressure of challenges of life because they lack the wisdom of self-encouragement. The truth you have to accept is that there are not many people to encourage you in this world. More people and situations will discourage you. It is important that you know that joy is the fuel of your courage to achieve in life. So, you must learn to encourage yourself. If the prodigal son does not encourage himself, he will simply die in his sorrow. It is true he committed an error, yet he refused to be a victim of his error. He refused to die for his mistake. Do you know that failure is refusing to rise from falling? After all, we have seen babies who fall into gutters, yet their mother will pick them up, clean them, and they are still good babies. A BLESSING           

Genesis 12:1-9
Devotional Verse: -“I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing” (V. 2)



    God made every person to be a blessing on the earth. To be a blessing on earth is to be used by God to strengthen, build and help others out of trouble. It is to encourage others and be a solution to their problems. When people get involved in serving the Lord, they become a blessing to their generation (Isaiah 60:15)

   When God asked Abraham to depart from his family to another place, He promised that He will make him a blessing. God has blessed every man, but it is only when we serve Him that we become a blessing. In this world, it is either a man is a blessing or a burden. So, choosing to serve the Lord in all you do is a choice to be a blessing.

   Friend, your involvement in the service of God makes you a blessing to others. This turns you to a person of value. This makes you a desire of all the people around. A man can only be a blessing when he is sowing the seed of blessing which is through service. That is why service enlist you in the school of greatness (Mark 10:44-45). Only the people who love to be a solution will find enough blessing of the Lord. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, make me a vessel of blessing to my generation

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
