ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. It means to ask for your rights and your entitlements in God (Galatians 3:13-14). The bible is a book of covenant ...

GREATNESS

GREATNESS

Mark 10:35-45
Devotional Verse:-“Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43)

God who is our maker is a great God and all His works are great. He cannot make anyone that is not capable of been great. The ability of greatness is in everyone. No one can blame God for his/her life not been great. All that God need to do in making us great has been done.

Jesus says, whoever want to become great should be the servant. The disciple seems to be clamoring for the first position, but Jesus showed them the mystery of greatness which is in service. To be great is to be of a high value in what you do. It is to be of great importance and blessing to multitude of people. Jesus was not the richest man on earth when He was physically present on earth, but He was the most needed. Though, He has ascended to heaven over 2000 years ago, we are all still in need of Him. This was not because, He was living as an Aristotle, but He was solving problems (Acts 10:38).

Friend, many things will give you temporary greatness in this world, but service to God and to humanity will give you eternal greatness. Today, the world is celebrating Nelson Mandela day. This is not because he was giving gift to his people, but the sacrifice he made for his people. When you allow God to use you to help others at your level, you are in for greatness. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, make me a solution to my generation.

“WHEN YOU KEY INTO SERVICE, YOU ARE KEYING INTO GREATNESS”
