SPIRIT OF UNDERSTANDING  Daniel 5:1-11 Devotional:- “There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the Spirit of the Holy God. And in the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in him; and King Nebuchadnezzar your father-your father the king-made him chief of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers” (V. 11) NKJV      The human level of exploits in life depends largely on their level of understanding. The depth of your understanding determines the size of your light in life. Understanding is what makes people outstanding. If you can't dig deep, you can’t grow tall. It is as you can take root downward, that you can bear fruits upward. Failure is mostly a result of a lack of understanding (Hosea 4:6). People of understanding are of peaceful progress. Since they can dig deep to know the right thing in life they can keep flying.

Exodus 23:20-30
Devotional Verse:-"So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you” (V. 25)



   No matter what a servant of God may have to go through, the Lord will deliver him out of it all (Psalms 37:39-40). In this world, there are many challenges that confront men. A major one is the challenge of sickness. Sickness is an affliction on the body of people but God is a healer (Exodus 15:26).

   A major covenant that God has for everyone who is involved in His service is the covenant of sound health. The Bible says if we shall serve the Lord, He will bless our bread and water and take sickness away from our land. He says, He will protect us from sicknesses. Most diseases come to the body of man through food. So, God said He will bless our water and our bread which represents our food and drinks. He said we shall not experience miscarriage or infertility even in our land. He said He will give us long and full lives.

   Friend, please know that when you live for God, He will take care of you. The challenges others have will not come near your body. He will deliver you from all forms of sicknesses and diseases (Psalms 105:14-15). God will not permit affliction over your life. This is all because you have made Him your master. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to covenant my life to serve you alone

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

ALTERNATIVES II Kings 5:1-15 Devotional:- “Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage”. (V12) NKJV      It is always the trick of the devil to make us lose sight of God. So he often makes us see alternatives to God. His own goal is to take people away from God. The enemies so much make his way look easy and quick but with eternal implications. That is why you need to grow your faith and not yield to his tricks. The devil’s alternative will always be with covenants that bind into darkness.
