HOPING IN GOD

HOPING IN GOD Psalms 71:4-14  Devotional:- “For You are my hope, O Lord GOD; You are my trust from my youth” (V.5) NKJV In today's world, many people are finding it difficult to put their hope in God. This is because they have waited for a few times, which to them is rather too long (Proverbs 13:12). And now they’ve made their calculation that if they have hoped in God for these three years and nothing is coming forth, then what is the need for continuing to hope? It is why many people in civilised nations have been living their lives unwilling to carry God along. We often forget that without Him we can do nothing (John 15:5). Everything we can do or shall do should be by His permission. The most common error among Christians is that we often don’t understand the power of hope or the difference between hope and faith. Hope is consistently keeping in mind the promises God has made to us, because we know He can do what He has promised (Hebrews 10:23). This helps us grow in wis...

MEETING NEEDS

MEETING NEEDS

Galatians 6:1-10
Devotional Verse: -“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith” (V. 10)

The essence of service is to meet needs. Ministry is meeting a particular need. The reason most nations or industry are not effective is because people are employed to serve without meeting a particular need. Meeting needs has to do with helping others out of their troubles. Any business that is not meeting needs and helping others out of problem may actually be an act of wickedness (Matthew 25:26).

The word of God says, as much as we have the opportunity, let us do good, help out or be a blessing to everyone, especially the members of the house hold of faith. Therefore, wherever you work or serve, always look out for ways to help others with what you are doing. Every time you see someone in need, God is simply giving you the opportunity to serve. You also need to note that the Bible says the need of the church and the member of the church should be a priority. This is because God take note of this for a bountiful reward (Matthew 6:33)

Someone said, “do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the way you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as you can”. Always take the little task you are given to do as though they are great one. Sit down to analyze it to make it good and great. Remember, God is watching all you are doing for a time of reward. Peace!
