SHARING YOUR FEELING

SHARING YOUR FEELING Hebrews 4:11-16 Devotional:- “For we do not have an high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness… (V. 15)” It is not always very easy for people to understand us, especially when we pass through challenges and are weak. Even those who want to understand and sympathise could get to a level and turn back. Sometimes, instead of people sympathising with us, they constitute a panel of judges and begin to point accusing fingers at us.  As part of the act of love of Jesus, the scripture we read today says, He sympathises with us in our situation. In other words, He knows exactly what you are going through, both the one you can explain and the one you cannot. He could feel exactly the way you feel. The Bible says, He has suffered as we do. Even if you are struggling with a weakness or a sin, He has also been in the flesh. He knows how painful your feelings are. He cannot reject you, and He identifies with you and still loves you. ACCEPT YOUR ASSIGNMENT

ACCEPT YOUR ASSIGNMENT

Romans 9:14-24
Devotional Verse:-“But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, "Why have you made me like this?"” (V. 20)

In the plan of God for making you, He has the best in mind for you (Jeremiah 29:11). The form by which He made you may not be the one like that of your friend, but it is the best for you. Most people compare their life with others and the Bible says, this is not wisdom (2 Corinthians 10:12). This is the reason why many will never fulfill their destiny.

The word of God says the potter have the right to determine the shape of the clay. It is the potter that knows the reason he wants to make the clay into what shape. It is therefore wisdom that a man should accept the mode God has made him into and be happy with it. Many struggle with life today and fails because they don't like the way God made them. No one will ever be happy trying to be like another person. Your sense of self-esteem and joy will be of quality when you accept and celebrate what God has fashioned you into.

Friend, things don't have to go for you the way it goes for your friend. You need to be grateful for your mode or your shape in life. You need to love your life and be thankful. Then you will be able to make the most of your life. Not everyone will like what you do, yet, the people you are sent to will always celebrate you. Don't let the devil steal your joy of service. All you need to do is to grow in your shape. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always celebrate myself
