DELIGHT IN THE WORD

DELIGHT IN THE WORD Psalm 119:97-104         Devotional:- “How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!” (v.103) NKJV One of the greatest strengths of joy is the Word of God. The truth is that man’s life is a product of the information that he always listen to. If a man always hears about wickedness, he will be wicked. If a man keeps hearing sorrowful news, he will keep having sorrow. But for those who will always commune in the word of God, they will keep their joy by the word of God. This is because the word of God is good news; it’s the joyful news. There is no way you will give yourself to regular drinking from the word of God; that joy will not be produced regularly in you. The word is a sure source of joy. The psalmist says God’s word is sweet not only to him but also to everyone who loves it. PERSONALITY

Matthew 16:13-20
Devotional Verse:- “Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."” (V. 16)

When you observe people, you will discover that people look unique in the way they behave. This is because God made all the people on earth to be uniquely different. A research said, only 10 out of 2.4 billion can look closely like you. This simply means you are uniquely made. Your personality is just so uniquely different. Understanding this will make you identify the areas you can best serve.

We saw among the disciples of Jesus the personality trait of Peter. He will always be the first to talk. This must be that he has a strong talking personality. We can see this displayed in various places in the scripture (Luke 9:33; Matthew 16:21-23; John 21:2-3). Everyone is made with different personalities and this point to where we can best serve. There are four major personality traits you need to know. The first of them is sanguine, like Peter. They enjoy talking and creating humor. The second is choleric. They are called natural leader. They love to dictate what others in the group will do and impose their ideas sometimes. The third is phlegmatic. They love to keep to themselves and think deep over matters. The forth is melancholy. They love to work and not easily fed up working.

Each person may have two or more of such traits manifesting in them; One from the father and the other from the mother. So, discover your major and minor personality. This will help you to know where you can best serve. This will also help you in knowing the reason people behave the way they do. Give yourself to learning more about people's personality and you will be able to understand with people, in relationship or in team work. Peace!
