  SPECIAL CHILDREN Proverbs 23:15-25  Devotional:- “Do not let your heart envy sinners, But be zealous for the fear of the LORD all the day” (V.17) NKJV Today, the lives of children in most nations are becoming a great trouble. Many parents have lost control of their children. But in the midst of these hopeless situations of the future generation, yet some children allow the word of God to rule their lives, such children have the fear of God in them. These are children who keep a wise heart and who have learnt the right use of their lips. Who don’t open their lip to speak just anything but the truth and wisdom (Proverbs 23:16). These are children who don’t envy the way of sin, nor do they get themselves involved in the sinful nature of this generation. Rather, they fear the Lord, and this affects everything they do (Proverbs 23:17). Daniel 1:8-20
Devotional:- “And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm” (V. 20)



   When someone has decided to serve the Lord, not flesh or sin, God will bestow on him the excelling grace. This is because, God made us to be the best in the areas of our calling. We are already custom made for greatness. All that God is seeking from us, is to be willing to serve Him.

   Daniel and his friends determined in their heart that they will not serve the devil or give themselves to the pleasure of this world. They made up their mind to live only for God. Since it is God who packaged them, He started to release the best through their lives as they serve Him where they were. When they were asked to bow to an image, they refused (Daniel 2:24-25). When the king wanted to kill all the wise men because of the king's dream, God revealed the secret to them (Daniel 2:16-19). When they were to be given strong drink, they rejected. Then God gave them wisdom and they were ten times better (Daniel 1:17-20).

   Friend, you will only be your best and live the best kind of life when you live to serve God (Daniel 6:20-22). Decide to allow God to use you as a vessel of His honour. Most people live a dishonoured life today but God will turn your life to be honourable (Hebrews 5:4). And you will be the best. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, let your grace for the best be upon my life.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
