  WORLD CLASS CHRISTIAN Mark 16:14-20 Devotional:- “And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (V. 15) There are two types of Christians in the world: The world class Christians and the worldly Christian. You are either in one of these groups. The worldly Christians look to God primarily for personal needs. They are saved but self-centered. Their prayer focuses on me first and focuses on their needs, blessings and happiness or comfort. They want to use God for their purpose instead of been used for Gods purposes. “Jesus sent us to reach the world, be part”.  In contrast, world class Christians are people who are saved and know that they are here to serve the purpose of God. Find them anywhere in the world they will be serving God’s purpose. They are eager to receive personal assignment and excited about the privilege of been used by God. Everything they do in life is towards fulfilling the purpose of God and not just for worldly pleasu...

PRODUCT OF SIN

James 1:9-18
Devotional:- “Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.” (V. 15) NKJV

    Believers should be careful not to fill their minds with the mentality of sin. There are some facts we need to know about this so that we are not ignorant of the devices of the devil. Then the devil will not find it easy to outwit us in Jesus' name (2 Corinthians 2:11). What pushes most great men into the traps of sin are what could easily be avoided, but they became victims of it through their ignorance.

The scripture we read today gives us the process and products of sin, so that at any level we are in the process, we can always resist the flesh to discontinue because it will put us into the trap. God’s word says, God doesn’t tempt anyone with evil (sin), but everyone is tempted by their lust and enticed. This means that sin commences in the heart of men when they start to have wrong thoughts and desires for the things of the flesh. As this is not curbed, it soon develops into an enticement that is uncontrollable, then gives birth to sin. And sin gives birth to death (2 Corinthians 6:16-18). Death in this context talks about separation from God, which, if not corrected, could now lead to eternal separation from God in hell.  Why is it this hard? May I let you know that any activity of sin is an act of the devil, manipulating people to disobey God. Sin is not just behaviour (1 John 3:8). Please understand that light and darkness do not coexist, so also God and the devil cannot co-dwell in your heart.

Friend, you can therefore kill the seed of sin, which is wrong desire, rather than struggling with its fruit when it begins to manifest, so that it does not lead you to trials or temptation. You are going far, do not let sin hinder your journey. And you will soon arrive at your destination of glory.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO ALWAYS CHOOSE TO OBEY YOU NO MATTER WHAT.

“IF SIN COULD PROLONG YOUR JOURNEY, THEN YOU SHOULD DESTROY ITS SEED”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
