FLOATING AXE

FLOATING AXE Devotional:- 2 Kings 6:1-7 “So the man of God said, "Where did it fall?" And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float’’ (V.6) NKJV  Sometimes when we read about some great wonders of God in the Bible, something makes us feel it was because the people were very special. But we need to know that they are men of like passion (James 5:17-18). They were just exactly like we are, but they were only men of faith. This makes God to work wonders through them. The sons of the prophet needed a big place of dwelling. So they decide to cut trees to make a new home. Thank God they requested that Elisha should go with them. As they were cutting the trees, the axe head fell into the deep river. And the man of God asked the Holy Spirit for what to do. The Holy Spirit was what they also depended upon, and there was a miracle. Friend, you also have the Holy Spirit. That stick is the word of God. Speak to the sinking situatio...

FEAR NO DEATH

FEAR NO DEATH

Acts 21:1-14
Devotional:- “Then Paul answered, "What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus”” (v. 13) NKJV

No one can live effectively except they first give up on the fear of death. Since some people have seen death as the end of existence, it often poses a great threat to their lives. Today, death is a fearful thing to mention to so many people. They sleep and wake up with the fear of death. They do everything with the consciousness of death. They even travel as though they will not come back. The hard truth is that such men will eventually die.

You need to know that you are too valuable to God and that He cannot be so carefree to allow you to die anyhow. I know there could be many questions in your heart, but the word of God says you will not die. Do you know that the fear of death could paralyses your mental and emotional balance for excellence? You need to know that every breakthrough in life comes through risk. If you can’t take a risk, you can’t take a new rank.

Paul was a man worthy of emulation; the fear of death had no grip upon his mind. He was ready to take dangerous steps. He was so convinced of his step for the sake of the gospel rather than being scared of death. Do you know that for you, death is not an end, it is just a transition? The only reason why we should not expect it now is that we must finish our assignment here first. Get to know that you are here on assignment. You are not going until you finish up. Stop thinking about death, so you don’t terminate your life. Put your total trust in the power of God, that it can preserve you. Put that fear aside and go for your goal. This is a season that has been appointed for your rising, and you shall shine.

PRAYER: LORD, DELIVER ME FROM THE FEAR OF DEATH.
