JOY OF PARENTS

JOY OF PARENTS Proverbs 15:11-21 “A wise son makes a father glad, But a foolish man despises his mother” (V.20). NKJV One of the things that brings perpetual joy and gladness to parents at their old age is the lives of their children. When a man sees his children living right, prospering and serving God, it brings great joy that no one can take away from him. Many parents are living in sadness because of the terrible lives the children are living, but the truth is that they never invested the “wisdom” of the word of God in these children when they were young. They left these children to live their lives the way they wanted, now the consequences are manifesting. Beloved, if you want to have joy in your old age, plant into your children now the word of God that can make them wise, and when they are wise and behave wisely, your joy will know no bounds. Prayer: Lord, help me to raise Godly children. “YOUR CHILDREN ARE YOUR TREASURES”

PREPARATION

PREPARATION

2 Chronicles 27:1-6
Devotional:- “So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the LORD his God” (v.6) NKJV.

A race not prepared for might not be that successful in the end. Everyone who runs and wins in the race of life knows that there is nothing to replace preparation. It is only those who will take the time to prepare that will find sufficient strength to finish their race. Preparation is to get yourself ready for the race set ahead of you. It is building in your system what it takes to have the victory and success you desire; it is exercising your system in readiness for a task. It is training your system to be used to the demands of your race.

In the scripture we read today, Jotham became a great king in Judah. The Bible referred to him as someone who became mighty. And this great level of attainment was attributed to his preparation before the Lord his God. The truth is that what you don’t prepare for, you may not be able to have the best of. If you therefore want to be great, you need to prepare strongly enough.

You need to build maturity into your system, you need to have an understanding of the purpose for which things happen, develop a good and right Spirit, a joyful and lovely Spirit, and a life of principles. Don’t just keep living anyhow. It is then that you will have the ability to absorb the challenges of life. Build a good attitude towards relationships with people, the ability to manage your success, the ability to make quality decisions, and the ability to retain your faith amid the storm of life. All of these and more are what you could begin to build into your system while you await your greater tomorrow. This you will be able to do, if you give yourself to studying the bible and other books of great individuals. Humble yourself to allow those who have gone ahead of you to mentor you. May you not suffer in your days of manifestation. And your flight shall be smooth.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO START PREPARING FOR MY COMING GLORY.

YOUR LEVEL OF PREPARATION DETERMINES YOUR LEVEL OF EXPLOIT
