JOY OF PARENTS

JOY OF PARENTS Proverbs 15:11-21 “A wise son makes a father glad, But a foolish man despises his mother” (V.20). NKJV One of the things that brings perpetual joy and gladness to parents at their old age is the lives of their children. When a man sees his children living right, prospering and serving God, it brings great joy that no one can take away from him. Many parents are living in sadness because of the terrible lives the children are living, but the truth is that they never invested the “wisdom” of the word of God in these children when they were young. They left these children to live their lives the way they wanted, now the consequences are manifesting. Beloved, if you want to have joy in your old age, plant into your children now the word of God that can make them wise, and when they are wise and behave wisely, your joy will know no bounds. Prayer: Lord, help me to raise Godly children. “YOUR CHILDREN ARE YOUR TREASURES”

SPIRIT OF SPORT

SPIRIT OF SPORT

1 Corinthians 9:19-27
“Devotional:- Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.” (v.24) NKJV

We need to come to the awareness that life is a race. Therefore, if a person does not carry a sportsman's spirit, they may never win in the race of life. This is why God’s word encourages us to run so that we may obtain the precious prize of glory.

There is so much to learn from a sportsman. Most sportsmen are excited about their profession. They are happy playing their games. No nation or team will not defeat a depressed team. You also need to be careful approaching your business or career in a depressed way. A sportsman will always train in anticipation of his victory. Please learn from this. Do everything daily as if preparing for the glorious destiny of your life. This will help you to be ever ready to face the challenges of life and look forward to your victory.

When a sportsman wants to start his race or game, he will determine in his heart to win the race. Every sportsman is determined to be number one. Stop settling for average and mediocrity level. Learn to aim high, though be willing to start small. All destinies have a glorious end (Philippians 3:14). When a sportsman is defeated, he doesn't give up. He would rather get challenged and move forward. No matter your experience, don’t let it discourage you from going forward. So much is waiting for you this year, but you will need a sportsman’s spirit. Soon you shall stand on the platform of glory with a gold medal of life given to you in Jesus' name.

PRAYER: LORD, I AM RISING IN YOUR NAME TO SHINE

“NOTHING WILL RISE UP UNTIL YOU RISE UP”
