STRENGTH IN GOD

SELF PERCEPTION
No one will be able to fly when he has a wrong perception of him/themself. Wrong self-perception is to look down on your personality. To disqualify yourself from the race set ahead of you. To look at yourself as being weak. This could become a weight on you and hinder you from being able to fly in life.
This happens to us because sometimes we allow people’s wrong comments about us to dominate our minds. Some people have the picture of successful men and women in their mind, and anytime they look at themselves in the mirror, they can't see themselves fit into a mode of success. Some people’s experience of failure makes them conclude that they can’t make it. But none of these is a strong enough reason for you to undervalue yourself.
Though God had invested so much to bring the Israelites so far, and now they are about to enter the land of Canaan but they now see themselves as grasshoppers that are not able to possess the land. This got God annoyed, and they all died in the wilderness as a result of their fear. Self-intimidation is an activity of demons and darkness. People need to be set free from such (2 Timothy 1:7). We should be careful not to equate it to a bad mood or feelings. It takes the light of the truth to shatter such spirit (Psalm 119:130). Please don’t just blame and mock such a person.
Friend, stop underrating yourself for greater is He that is in you (1 John 4:4). You can do all things through Christ that strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). Look at the mirror again today and know that you are an Image of God (Genesis 1:26-30). You are the very image that could be referred to as success. You can make it, no matter what men may say about you. The only final word on your life is the word of God. You are made to fit into your destiny. God cannot make a mistake. There is a glorious purpose for your make. From the day you see yourself able, your strength will be restored, and you will also move to your next level of glory.
PRAYER: LORD, I DECREE MY FREEDOM FROM THE SPIRIT OF TIMIDITY
