HE NEVER CONDEMNS

HE NEVER CONDEMNS John 8:1-11  Devotional:- “She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”” (V. 11) NKJV One of the tricks the devil often used against man is to make us feel condemned. To be condemned is a feeling of self-judgment. It is the act of judging oneself to death when God has not. A man with condemnation cannot be bold or courageous. He cannot exercise faith. He cannot take a risk and so cannot find it easy to succeed. The truth is that God does not condemn man. So it is like man to feel condemned, and it is the handiwork of the devil. It was said about Jesus, “for God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).  God has appointed Jesus to judge the earth. But that is not now. Condemnation is a feeling that one has been written off and is not worthy of living anymore. The only people who will face God’s final condemnation are those who refused to...

EXCUSES

EXCUSES

Exodus 4:6-17
Devotional:- “Then Moses said to the LORD, "O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue” (v. 10) NKJV

Many do not know that excusing oneself from God’s instruction is a grievous sin unto the Lord. We often like to give excuses when we are asked to do something we never desire to do. Others give excuses when they have no hope or any view of expectation in what they are called to do. Such people only do what is easy and only with immediate returns. They often don’t want to go the extra mile to do extraordinary things. Most people only want to do what they believe will bring immediate results.

Excuses are statements that make one avoid doing what one actually wants to do. Many of us do not know that it is an act of improper view of ourselves. If you cannot view the great and mighty potential in you, your creator can. So, excuses are the refusal to tap into what God has put inside you. And this can become a weight on you to disallow your flight.

Moses never knew how much expectation God had placed on him. He never knew that his non-readiness had delayed the children of Israel from being delivered. So he looked into his past and present to unleash excuses to avoid God’s assignment for him. This is an action that always gets God annoyed with the sons of men.

I don’t know what excuses you have also been giving for your response to God’s instruction. When will you step out? He has deposited enough Virtue in you for all His instructions. Stop comparing your past with the future. Stop focusing on your inadequacies, God is more than able to help you fulfill your destiny in life. For how long will you continue to wait in wasting? Talk to Him by faith, and you will see His grace at work in your life.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO OBEY YOUR LEADING EVEN WHEN IT LOOKS RIDICULOUS.

“EVERY GOD’S DIRECTIONS IS BASED ON WHAT HE HAS PUT IN YOU THAT YOU CANNOT SEE AND NOT WHAT YOU CAN SEE”
