UNMOVED FAITH

UNMOVED FAITH Matthew 15:21-28 Devotional:- “And she said, "Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table" (V.27) NKJV      Sometimes, by the principle of our response to life or obedience to God, we might not have been qualified for some things. But faith can qualify us. That is why Jesus said He has not come for the rich but that the poor may be rich. He has come to remove the barriers in the lives of people and to release them to their destiny.

SLEEP ABUSE

SLEEP ABUSE

Proverbs 6:6-11
Devotional:- “How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep?” (V.9) NKJV

Today, we talk so much about drug abuse because of its evil effects on the lives, making people live abnormal lives. It could affect the mind and make people lose control of their lives. But little do we often talk about other things we abuse in life that could also bring life and destiny to a total disarray. One of such is excessive sleeping.

Just like men could become addicted to drugs, so also can sleep. Just like drugs could be detrimental to life, so also is excessive sleeping. When you consider the purpose of sleep, it is to have a wonderful effect on the body. It reactivates our mental and physical strength. It replaces lost energy. It relaxes our entire system and reorganizes it for better performance.

As good as its functions, as bad it can turn to a man when it is abused or taken as pleasure. This could turn into a terrible habit. God’s word says, A little sleep, a little slumber, so poverty comes into the life of many. Friend, stop celebrating sleep. Discipline yourself. Be aware that your destiny could also be awake.  Stop sleeping over six or seven hours on average. No one receives a benefit for excessive sleeping. This is your year of progress. Move yourself out of slumber. And your entire life shall resurrect.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO BE DELIVERED FROM EXCESSIVE SLEEPING.

“THE COMPETITION OF SLEEP IS ONLY REWARDED WITH THE AWARD OF POVERTY”
