HE NEVER CONDEMNS

HE NEVER CONDEMNS John 8:1-11  Devotional:- “She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”” (V. 11) NKJV One of the tricks the devil often used against man is to make us feel condemned. To be condemned is a feeling of self-judgment. It is the act of judging oneself to death when God has not. A man with condemnation cannot be bold or courageous. He cannot exercise faith. He cannot take a risk and so cannot find it easy to succeed. The truth is that God does not condemn man. So it is like man to feel condemned, and it is the handiwork of the devil. It was said about Jesus, “for God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).  God has appointed Jesus to judge the earth. But that is not now. Condemnation is a feeling that one has been written off and is not worthy of living anymore. The only people who will face God’s final condemnation are those who refused to...

BE RESPONSIBLE

BE RESPONSIBLE

1 Samuel 17:12-22
Devotional:- “So David rose early in the morning, left the sheep with a keeper, and took the things and went as Jesse had commanded him. And he came to the camp as the army was going out to the fight and shouting for the battle” (v. 20) NKJV.

If God will give lifting to any man, He will look into the level of his responsible attitude. When God was looking down from heaven, to search for a king in place of Saul the king, He found David. Responsibility is one of the things He must have seen in him (1 Samuel 16:1).

So many people today, even Christians, don’t want to be responsible for anything in their lives; they cannot be trusted. They are as careless as anything. They even want to use church services as excuses for not doing their work well in the office or at home. Yes, it is good and important to be in the house of the Lord, but it is also necessary that your work is well-planned and not mocked.

David was not just like any careless person. When the father sent him to his brother, he gave the charge to watch over the sheep to another shepherd who would be able to take care of them. This is a sense of responsibility. Please, whatever you are given to do, do it with a heart of responsibility. Let God find you faithful. Don’t just be absent from the office at will.

Do you know that it is a robbery to be paid for a time that you are not working? God will only avenge all disobedience against you when your obedience is completed (2 Corinthians 10:6). And favour shall answer to you.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO BE RESPONSIBLE WHEREVER I AM COMMITTED.

“A SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY IS A SENSE OF MATURITY”
