HE NEVER CONDEMNS

HE NEVER CONDEMNS John 8:1-11  Devotional:- “She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”” (V. 11) NKJV One of the tricks the devil often used against man is to make us feel condemned. To be condemned is a feeling of self-judgment. It is the act of judging oneself to death when God has not. A man with condemnation cannot be bold or courageous. He cannot exercise faith. He cannot take a risk and so cannot find it easy to succeed. The truth is that God does not condemn man. So it is like man to feel condemned, and it is the handiwork of the devil. It was said about Jesus, “for God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).  God has appointed Jesus to judge the earth. But that is not now. Condemnation is a feeling that one has been written off and is not worthy of living anymore. The only people who will face God’s final condemnation are those who refused to...

LOYALTY

LOYALTY

2 Samuel 11:6-13
Devotional:- “And Uriah said to David, "The ark and Israel and Judah are dwelling in tents, and my lord Joab and the servants of my lord are encamped in the open fields. Shall I then go to my house to eat and drink, and to lie with my wife? As you live, and as your soul lives, I will not do this thing.” (V.11) NKJV

Most people do not know that if they are not loyal to their leader, People will not be loyal to them.  For whatever a man sows, he shall reap. We are living in a generation that carries corrupt seed for a terrible future (Galatians 6:7). You must not join them if you are going to fly high in life.

The loyalty of Uriah, as we read in the scripture today, is highly commendable. And I know that God cannot but reward his generations for it. Though he was killed, he died for his loyalty to the king. When King David asked him to go and sleep with his wife, He should have seen it as a release from the war terror, but he refused (2 Samuel 11:9). He slept at the palace gate.

Uriah considers it to be unfaithfulness to the service of the Lord, and the king asked him to go home and sleep with his wife. He said, “The armies and the commanders are sleeping at the open camp, how will I disobey God?” He swore never to go home. Please learn to faithfully stand by your leader, so that someone may do the same for you.

The next night, King David made him drunk so that he could go home. But as for this man, drunkenness does not equal unfaithfulness. Friend, get to know that God is watching your loyalty in that office. Don’t forget that it is Him you are serving and not man. Your boss may even be wicked, but you serve him as unto the Lord (Ephesians 6:7-8). Please be loyal to your leaders, and the Lord will soon lift you more than your imagination.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO BE LOYAL TO MY LEADER.

“LOYALTY IS A HARD SEED, EVEN IF BROKEN, IT WILL YET BE PROFITABLE”
