HE NEVER CONDEMNS

HE NEVER CONDEMNS John 8:1-11  Devotional:- “She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”” (V. 11) NKJV One of the tricks the devil often used against man is to make us feel condemned. To be condemned is a feeling of self-judgment. It is the act of judging oneself to death when God has not. A man with condemnation cannot be bold or courageous. He cannot exercise faith. He cannot take a risk and so cannot find it easy to succeed. The truth is that God does not condemn man. So it is like man to feel condemned, and it is the handiwork of the devil. It was said about Jesus, “for God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).  God has appointed Jesus to judge the earth. But that is not now. Condemnation is a feeling that one has been written off and is not worthy of living anymore. The only people who will face God’s final condemnation are those who refused to...

WRONG FOUNDATION

WRONG FOUNDATION

Psalms 11:1-7
Devotional:- “If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?” (v.3) NKJV

It is of great importance that people consider the foundation of their lives to be one of the most vital things. Most people do not know that the foundation they lay for anything they do in this world is what determines the future of that venture. Very many people, especially the young people of this generation, just think that when one starts doing something, the way they start does not matter. He can always make up later. But this is never so.

When a builder wants to build a house, he takes time to prepare the right foundation. The depth of the foundation determines the strength, the span and the safety of the building. If the foundation is weak, both the builder and the owner of the house will surely face a risky future (Matthew 7:24-27). But when the foundation is sure, you can be sure of peace later. Jesus likened such a builder as wise because they build on the rock.

Be careful, don’t start your home, school, business, or ministry with lying, unfaithfulness, stolen materials, quarrel or rebellion. The future will be full of pain and struggle. It is the reason for much failure and frustration in society today (Proverbs 13:11). Ask God to give you special grace for a good foundation (1 Timothy 6:19). The enemy will always want to push people towards a wrong foundation for future frustration. Be careful, seek God’s grace and guidance with patience; then you can be sure of a glorious tomorrow. Your place will be at the top.

PRAYER: LORD, GRANT ME GRACE TO BE HUMBLE AND PATIENT FOR THE PROPER FOUNDATION OF MY LIFE.

“MOST WRONG FOUNDATIONS ARE UNAMENABLE EXCEPT TO BE PULLED DOWN TO START ALL OVER.”
