WAIT ON THE LORD

WAIT ON THE LORD

Isaiah 40:25-31
Devotional:- “But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint” (v.31) NKJV.

One of the strengths for soaring yet to be discovered by most children of God is waiting on the Lord. Until we learn to wait on the Lord, we may not receive the wings that is capable of flying us to our next level. Many Christians prefer to run to their pastor whenever they are faced with diverse challenges rather than waiting on the Lord. It is good to turn to the Pastor, but better to turn to the Lord.

Waiting on the Lord does not mean standing or staying idle. It is just like a waiter in the hotels who wait on you to know the kind of food or drinks to bring to you. To wait on the Lord means taking time to connect with Him, to receive instructions on what to do next. Listen, when God instructs you, you cannot but be outstanding in the world.

This year, learn to wait on the Lord at intervals. It is the secret of the success of Jesus' ministry. Set time aside. Find a place to be with the Lord in prayer and meditation upon God’s word to receive instruction. When you create time to wait, go with books written by men of God and your Bible. You sometimes need to be in a place alone with Jesus. You need a quiet place to have a suitable environment for this kind of spiritual exercise. This helps you to receive insight into His will for your life. He will sharpen and renew your vision. You will receive the strength to work. Soon you will be able to run. And eventually, you will be taken up above the reach of the devil. See you at the top.

PRAYER: LORD, MAKE THIS YEAR MY SEASON OF SOARING HIGH.

“IT WILL TAKE INSTRUCTION FROM ABOVE TO FLY ABOVE”
