HE NEVER CONDEMNS

HE NEVER CONDEMNS John 8:1-11  Devotional:- “She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”” (V. 11) NKJV One of the tricks the devil often used against man is to make us feel condemned. To be condemned is a feeling of self-judgment. It is the act of judging oneself to death when God has not. A man with condemnation cannot be bold or courageous. He cannot exercise faith. He cannot take a risk and so cannot find it easy to succeed. The truth is that God does not condemn man. So it is like man to feel condemned, and it is the handiwork of the devil. It was said about Jesus, “for God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).  God has appointed Jesus to judge the earth. But that is not now. Condemnation is a feeling that one has been written off and is not worthy of living anymore. The only people who will face God’s final condemnation are those who refused to...

AVOIDING PITFALL

AVOIDING PITFALL

2 Samuel 11:1-11
Devotional:- “Then it happened one evening that David arose from his bed and walked on the roof of the king's house. And from the roof he saw a woman bathing, and the woman was very beautiful to behold” (V. 2) NKJV.

Today, many lives that should have been glorious have been messed up by the devil, putting them into inward weakness that made them fall away from the grace of God. This has become a great weight for many lives today and stopping them from flying. As much as David was gloriously loved by the Lord. What he did, as we read in the scripture today, brought great trouble to his life. The trouble brought God’s wrought of sword and death to his family (2 Samuel 12:9-14). If we are going to soar, we must avoid this kind of pitfall in life.

To avoid this, you need to learn to be in the right place at the right time. The bible says that time was the time all kings used to go to war. Please learn to be in the office when due, be at home when due, and be at the church when due. Don’t be found in the wrong places at odd times. Be where you are supposed to be. Instead of going to war, David delegated it to Joab. Listen, an idle hand is the devil’s workshop. Taking leave is good, but do not let it turn you into a leaf. Stop giving out what you need to do yourself because you are a boss. Stop telling the house girl to make the bed; that is the role of your wife. David was also going on a pleasant trip that day. Beware of pleasure mentality (Proverbs 21:7). David saw a woman bathing and could not remove his eye. Friend, discipline your eye. Let it not lead you to trouble.

Please, if you discover any weaknesses in your life, pray to grow above them with the help of the Holy Spirit so that it does not cover your glory. Please let your partner be okay for you (Proverbs 5:17-19). The rest is evil and deception. All parts of people are the same. The seed of sin will always germinate sorrow (James 1:15). Do not let any foul spirit divert your way to destruction. Cast it out of your mind in the name of Jesus (Mark 16:17). Where you are going is too high to be trapped. Watch out! You are getting to your place. You are unstoppable in Jesus' name.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO DISCIPLINE MYSELF.
