  FILLING HIS MIND Psalms 8:1-9  Devotional:- “What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? “ (V.4) NKJV When two people are at the peak of love, their entire minds will be full of one another. There is nothing else that will gain stronger attention at such a time. If you employ a man who is always thinking of his wife, may he work. He will always have his rapt attention for the woman. This is because love is one of the things that does not want shared attention in the mind of man. And as much as men may have their minds filled with the thought of their lovers, as much as they can be empty of it sometimes. But God is not a man who can sometimes forget His own beloved. The scripture we read today says, His mind is full of you. That is, He is always thinking of you. His entire attention is on you. That is why you need to look at your challenges. ALTERNATIVES

II Kings 5:1-15
Devotional:- “Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage”. (V12) NKJV

    It is always the trick of the devil to make us lose sight of God. So he often makes us see alternatives to God. His own goal is to take people away from God. The enemies so much make his way look easy and quick but with eternal implications. That is why you need to grow your faith and not yield to his tricks. The devil’s alternative will always be with covenants that bind into darkness.

Naaman would have missed his miracle forever. As soon as he heard the message of the man of God, the devil gave him alternatives. These alternatives look good and even better but they will not deliver the end that will glorify God.

Friend, what God is instructing you to do might look ridiculous yet the end shall be miraculous. See, if it is not painful, it will not be gainful. Those alternatives are to alter destiny in Christ, be warned. Wait on the Lord and you will see God’s salvation (Exodus 14:11–14). Refuse to compromise your faith; stand strong in faith for your health and success. Stop depending on diabolic means or other ways that are not of God. Stand firm in Christ, hold on to the word of God and your testimony shall come at last.

Prayer: Lord, help me to stand strong in you.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
