  STRENGTH Nehemiah 8:4-12 Devotional:- “Then he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength”” (v. 10) NKJV As emotional beings, it is important that we come to the understanding that when we are in joy, our strength will be doubled. is joy that promotes both mental and physical strength. No matter how physically strong a man is, when he is in sorrow, he is weak; he can be defeated. Sorrow decomposes the cells in our muscles from being able to function together. When God’s people were given the grace to rebuild the falling wall of Jerusalem, they all came together in the strength of the Lord to build. During this time, the law of the Lord was brought and was read to them, and they now discovered what brought their ruin. This caused so much sorrow, and the people began to weep. ALTERNATIVES

II Kings 5:1-15
Devotional:- “Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage”. (V12) NKJV

    It is always the trick of the devil to make us lose sight of God. So he often makes us see alternatives to God. His own goal is to take people away from God. The enemies so much make his way look easy and quick but with eternal implications. That is why you need to grow your faith and not yield to his tricks. The devil’s alternative will always be with covenants that bind into darkness.

Naaman would have missed his miracle forever. As soon as he heard the message of the man of God, the devil gave him alternatives. These alternatives look good and even better but they will not deliver the end that will glorify God.

Friend, what God is instructing you to do might look ridiculous yet the end shall be miraculous. See, if it is not painful, it will not be gainful. Those alternatives are to alter destiny in Christ, be warned. Wait on the Lord and you will see God’s salvation (Exodus 14:11–14). Refuse to compromise your faith; stand strong in faith for your health and success. Stop depending on diabolic means or other ways that are not of God. Stand firm in Christ, hold on to the word of God and your testimony shall come at last.

Prayer: Lord, help me to stand strong in you.

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
