  CREATED TO RULE Genesis 1:26-31 Devotional:- “God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”” (V. 28) NIV The major purpose of creating man was to rule over the earth. This is because the purpose of a product is in the assignment given to it to carry out. The reason why God wanted us to rule the earth was to make us represent Him here, to disallow the enemy from ruling the earth. So our rulership was a delegation. It is very clear in the scripture, God’s manual of man, that we are created to rule. That is, to take over, take control and have dominion over the earth. A producer is only successful when the product serves the purpose of production. When authority is delegated to a man, it often comes with a measure of power and liberty to operate it. ALTERNATIVES

II Kings 5:1-15
Devotional:- “Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage”. (V12) NKJV

    It is always the trick of the devil to make us lose sight of God. So he often makes us see alternatives to God. His own goal is to take people away from God. The enemies so much make his way look easy and quick but with eternal implications. That is why you need to grow your faith and not yield to his tricks. The devil’s alternative will always be with covenants that bind into darkness.

Naaman would have missed his miracle forever. As soon as he heard the message of the man of God, the devil gave him alternatives. These alternatives look good and even better but they will not deliver the end that will glorify God.

Friend, what God is instructing you to do might look ridiculous yet the end shall be miraculous. See, if it is not painful, it will not be gainful. Those alternatives are to alter destiny in Christ, be warned. Wait on the Lord and you will see God’s salvation (Exodus 14:11–14). Refuse to compromise your faith; stand strong in faith for your health and success. Stop depending on diabolic means or other ways that are not of God. Stand firm in Christ, hold on to the word of God and your testimony shall come at last.

Prayer: Lord, help me to stand strong in you.

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
