A REWARDER

Image
A REWARDER   Hebrews 11:4-7. Devotional:- "For he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder, of those who diligently seek Him” (V.6)      Everyone involved in any kind of labor expects a reward. What motivates people into service or pursuit of life is the reward attached to it. It is embarrassing to see that most people labor for no reward, or rather their rewards don't often measure up to their service or input. This is the reason for frustration in the lives of many in the world today.

RESTORATION

Image
RESTORATION          1 Samuel 30:1-8 Devotional:- “So David inquired of the Lord, saying, "Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?" And He answered him, "Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all."” (V. 8)       Standing in victory will make a man to find recovery and restoration. People who take defeat as a mentality will always give up in every battle of life. People with the heart of faith for their victory will always see in their mind a restoration of whatever the enemy may have taken away from them (Joel 2:25).

PEACE

Image
PEACE            Leviticus 26:1-11 Devotional:- “I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid; I will rid the land of evil beasts, and the sword will not go through your land” (V. 6)      Those who stand in victory cannot but enjoy the presence of God. This is because; God is fighting for them in their absence. Therefore, before any war breaks out, it is already won. They just live in the peace of God.

ABOVE WICKEDNESS

Image
ABOVE WICKEDNESS           Ephesians 2:1-10 Devotional:- “And raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (V. 6)      When you are standing in victory of Jesus, you will live above wickedness. You will become stronger than the wicked and cast them out wherever you see them (Mark 16:17-18). You become far above the reach of the wicked, because your life, your family, your business can no longer be touched by the devil and all its powers.

WALL OF FIRE

Image
WALL OF FIRE          Zechariah 2:1-10 Devotional:- “For I,' says the Lord, 'will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.'" (V. 5)       Someone standing in victory of Christ is heavily protected. The forces of God are always surrounding him/her (2 kings 6:15-17). They are a wall of fire around him/her. That is why you must stand in faith of the word of God. To stand in Christ victory is to meditate in the word of His victory till His victory becomes your victory.

LIVING IN THE ROCK

Image
LIVING IN THE ROCK              Colossians 3:1-11 Devotional:- “For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God” (V. 3)      No one can stay in a rock and be affected by any form of wicked weapon. Nothing of such can penetrate the rock. To blow a rock is one of the highest risks anyone can take. The rock is one of the hardest substances on the earth. Jesus liken a man to be a wise man when he builds on the rock, how much more when, he lives in the rock (Matthew 7:24).

SIGNS AND WONDERS

Image
SIGNS AND WONDERS             Isaiah 8:11-32 Devotional:- “Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel From the Lord of hosts, Who dwells in Mount Zion” (V. 18)      Anyone standing in victory will end up becoming a sign and a wonder; this is because, they will be strange among others. To stand in victory is to trust in the ability of God through the work of the cross for our victory over every troubles of life. Standing in victory will always make you different. Most people talk about sickness as an unavoidable trouble. But you think and talk about it as a past tense. “By his stripes I am healed” (1 Peter 2:24).

CELEBRATION

Image
CELEBRATION              Isaiah 9:1-7 Devotional:- “You have multiplied the nation And increased its joy; They rejoice before You According to the joy of harvest, As men rejoice when they divide the spoil” (V. 3)          When a people are celebrating and rejoicing, something must have happened to them. It is either they have received a new blessing from the Lord or they have conquered their enemies (Psalms 126:1-3; Isaiah 9:3-4). That is why we must stand in victory to keep our celebration and joy.

PRESENCE OF GOD

Image
PRESENCE OF GOD             Psalms 23:1-6 Devotional:- “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me” (V. 4)      He that always stands in the victory of Jesus will always enjoy the presence of God. What move God to action is our faith (Mark 11:22-24). That is why when we imagine ourselves in His victory; His presence will always abide with us. The presence of God keeps all other powers off your life.

ENJOYING POWERS

Image
ENJOYING POWERS              Psalms 103:15-22 Devotional:- “Bless the Lord, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word” (V. 20)         A man with authority is given the right to command powers. A man's level of authority is determined by the size of his power. These powers are the volume of creatures that carries out his instructions. Jesus said “all power in heaven and on earth has been given unto me (Matthew 28:18). This means, every power must submit to His authority (Philippians 2:9-11).

OPERATING AUTHORITY

Image
OPERATING AUTHORITY            Luke 10:13-20 Devotional:- “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (V. 19)      When a man is standing in victory, he will equally stand in authority. This is because victory is a product of gaining more power to conquer an opponent.  Such people seems to have a sense of been in charge wherever they are. They operate with a victorious mentality and not defeated mentality.

INSISTING

Image
INSISTING              1 Samuel 1:8-18 Devotional: -“Then Elkanah her husband said to her, "Hannah, why do you weep? Why do you not eat? And why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?"” (V. 10)      One of the factors of victory is the ability to stand strong to insist on your victory. No one is born defeated. No one is born to lose. We are all made to overcome. It is in this understanding that we should insist on our right. We should not allow our portion to be taken or hindered anyhow.

RESISTING

Image
RESISTING              1 Samuel 5:5-11 Devotional :- “So it was, after they had carried it away, that the hand of the Lord was against the city with a very great destruction; and He struck the men of the city, both small and great, and tumors broke out on them” (V. 9)          A very strong factor of strength is ability to stand against the opponent. It is he that stands against or resists other that is known to be the strongest. That is why you cannot keep sitting down in defeat, you must know what it takes to arise and resist or stand against the forces that are intimidating your life and destiny.

COURAGE

Image
COURAGE              1 Samuel 17:31-51 Devotional:- “Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God" (V. 36)      Courage is a product of light and light is by revelation. For a man to encounter revelation about the power and the glory of God, he must give himself to meditating in the word of God. No matter who a man is or what a man is; he will still be afraid at the face of the threat of the devil or situations bigger than him. But, it is light that can shatter or dispel darkness.

STRENGTH

Image
STRENGTH             Psalms 18:21-30 Devotional:- “For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall” (V. 29)      For a man to stand in victory, he must be courageous, confident and strong. God keep speaking to Joshua, “you need to be bold and courageous” (Joshua 1:5-9). His assignment was to lead Israel to fight, conquer and apportion them their inheritance. This task cannot be accompanied without been confident and courageous. Fearful people cannot achieve such task.

BUILDING YOUR FAITH

Image
BUILDING YOUR FAITH              Jude 16-25 Devotional:- “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit” (V. 20)      A Christian who is not building up in faith will likely live a life of frustration. Such person will have to depend on others to move. This is because such cannot take responsibility to grow in faith. Growing faith is a personal adventure. No one can grow your faith for you. All that can be done for you is for God to use someone to provoke your faith.

TIME TO MEDITATE

Image
TIME TO MEDITATE          Psalms 77:5-18 Devotional:- “I call to remembrance my song in the night; I meditate within my heart, And my spirit makes diligent search” (V. 6)       Each one who loves to gain strength for victory must create a time daily to meditate. A time to meditate is a time to gain insight and deep revelation into the knowledge of God. Meditation gives us the privilege to fellowship with deep mysteries of the word of God (Psalms 42:7).

TIME TO STUDY

Image
TIME TO STUDY            2 Timothy 2:14-26 Devotional :- “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (V. 26) KJV      A man that is not acquiring more and more knowledge cannot achieve much in life. The more you acquire knowledge, the better and more resourceful you will be (Proverbs 24:5). It is information that can stimulates us to act in faith to overcome. That is why the Bible says “it is not good for a soul to be without knowledge” (Proverbs 19:2). This is because the more expose you are to relevant information, the more the chances of taking quality decisions.

CHURCH FELLOWSHIP

Image
CHURCH FELLOWSHIP            Psalms 84:1-12 Devotional:- “They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion” (V. 7)      The fellowship of the church is a place of strength for our victory. Only a strong man can win in the battle of life (Proverbs 24:10). Children of the living God are strong because God is strong. That is why you must not let the devil reduce the fellowship of the church to mere place of meeting with friends. It is what you take a thing to be that it will be to you.       The word of God referred to gathering of children of God as Mount Zion. It is called the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, where there is innumerable company of angels. The general assembly and the church of the first born that are registered in heaven. God is always there, Jesus is always there. In the church, the blood speak better things (Hebrews 12:22-24).      That is why; those who imbibe the habit of being in God’s house will go from strength to strength. Yo

LOVING GOD

Image
LOVING GOD                      John 21:15-19 Devotional:- “He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep”” (V. 17)        Whoever that has chosen the Lord Jesus to be his Lord, must also choose to love God. Most people stop at just choosing Jesus, but they don’t really love God. Those who love God will go extra mile to obey and serve Him. Many want the blessings of Jesus, but they don’t want His yoke (Matthew 11:29-30).

PERSONAL FELLOWSHIP

Image
PERSONAL FELLOWSHIP              Matthew 14:22-33 Devotional:- “And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there” (V. 23)      Those who want to stand strong in victory must cultivate the habit of fellowshipping personally and regularly with God. It is who you fellowship with regularly that you will end up behaving like (Proverbs 13:20). God is the almighty and you cannot be fellowshipping regularly with Him and become weak. You will surely be stronger than all other forces.

KNOWING GOD

Image
KNOWING GOD              Daniel 11:29-39 Devotional :- “ Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits” (V. 32) Oluremi AGBABIAKA · KNOWING GOD    One of the major deceptions of the devil is to make man feel that all is limited to the physical (Hebrews 11:3). Therefore, man becomes limited to what he can see. That will simply make lives hopeless. But all of that, are lies of the devil (John 8:44). When a man knows God, he will start to operate at the realm far higher than the natural.

KNOWING THE TRUTH

Image
KNOWING THE TRUTH           John 8:31-36 Devotional:- “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (V. 32) Oluremi AGBABIAKA · KNOWING THE TRUTH    Standing in victory demands that, we have the belt of the truth around us always. It is through this that we can brace up ourselves to stand strong in victory (Ephesians 6:14). It is the knowledge of the truth that gives our heart the confidence and the courage to stand in victory. This knowledge is not just in knowing. It is in accessing the revelation of the word of God. The truth is written all over the Bible, but it takes revelation to find it. And it takes revelation to truly access the power in it (Ephesians 1: 17-18).      What is the truth? It is the revelation of the fact that we have been given the power to become sons of God (John 1:12). It is the knowledge that Jesus died, that we might live. He rose again on the third day. By His death and resurrection, He has conquer the powers of the devil (John

WALKING WITH GOD

Image
WALKING WITH GOD              Genesis 17:1-12 Devotional - “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless”” (V. 1) Oluremi AGBABIAKA · WALKING WITH GOD     To stand in victory is not just by head knowledge or by title. It is a status of the Spirit. It takes faith to stand in victory (1 John 5:4). And faith is a product of the revelation of the word of God (Romans 10:17). No one can consistently be strong in faith except by constant relationship with God. It is not just by reading but by meditation and continuous relationship with God.

VICTORY MENTALITY

Image
VICTORY MENTALITY              Psalms 16:1-11 Devotional -“I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved” (V. 8) Oluremi AGBABIAKA · VICTORY MENTALITY         Every child of God should operate victory mentality contrary to defeat mentality that people carries around today. The moment a man operates a defeated mentality, such cannot overcome in life. The truth is that, Jesus has overcome for us, but it is important we walk in the mentality of victory before we can enjoy a life of victory.      David said in the book of Psalms “I have set the Lord always before me, so I shall not be moved”. By this, he meant my mind is set always on seeing that God is with me (Psalms 23:4-5). This is simply a mental picture called imagination. This is making a conclusion in our minds based on the promises of the word of God (Matthew 28:18-20).      Friend, you must always see that the Lord is with you, no matter what (Joshua 1:5). What you are going through

INNER STRENGTH

Image
INNER STRENGTH              Ephesians 3:14-21 Devotional:- “That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man” (V. 16) Oluremi AGBABIAKA · INNER STRENGTH    It is with the inner strength that you can live victoriously. It is not much of the outer strength. It is as strong as you are in your heart that determines how strong you will be. Life’s battle are fought in our heart. That is why it is often said that our heart is the battle ground of life.

CONQUERING

Image
CONQUERING             Psalms 110:1-7 Devotional:- “The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool" (V. 1)         Oluremi AGBABIAKA · CONQUERING    To be victorious, is to conquer the power that stands against you. A victorious Christian is the one that is standing strong and refusing to be defeated. A victorious Christian is the one that faces his challenge and stand strong till he gains victory. A victorious Christian is the one who does not give in to the tricks of the devil. To be victorious is to put the devil right under your feet (Romans 16:20).

CONTINUOUS PROMOTION

Image
CONTINUOUS PROMOTION               James 1:12-20 Devotional:- “Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him” (V. 12) Oluremi AGBABIAKA · CONTINUOUS PROMOTION    The reason why a child of God should keep living a victorious life is because by it, we keep having our promotion in the strength of the spirit. Every time a child of God overcome a challenge the revelation and the faith that gives us victory becomes our testimony and make us to have a new rank in God.      That is why the Bible tells us not to blame anyone for going through challenges (James 1:13-14). We are challenged because it is our weakness that allows it. When a Christian is not praying very well or relaxing in relating with God or in studying the Bible or serving, the devil will soon take advantage to sneak into his life and cause a problem. That is when the presence of God we use to avoid, becomes where w

STAND IN VICTORY

Image
STAND IN VICTORY           Psalms 20:1-9 Devotional:- “They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright” (V. 8) Oluremi AGBABIAKA · STAND IN VICTORY    So many people in the world today are actually standing for nothing specifically. It is often said that, he that stand for nothing, falls for all things. That is why it is important that you choose where to stand. No decision is worst more than bad decision. Choose where to stand (Joshua 24:15).

DISARMED

Image
DISARMED              Colossians 2:11-15 Devotional :- “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it” (V. 15) Oluremi AGBABIAKA · DISARMED     There is need for all children of God to always meditate on the word of God. This will always take you in to the deep mysteries of your victory in Christ Jesus. If not, people could just be reading through the Bible and still remain in their bondage. Having head knowledge of the Bible does not shake the devil. He knows the Bible more than many believers (Luke 4:9-12).

PURCHASE OF REDEMPTION

Image
PURCHASE OF REDEMPTION              John 16:25-33 Devotional:- “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."  (V. 33) Oluremi AGBABIAKA · PURCHASE OF REDEMPTION    Jesus came to the world to activate our victory in God. We are creature destined for dominion (Genesis 1:26-28). In other words, the purpose of our creature is to dominate the earth and all that is in it. It means we are delegated to represent God in taking charge of the world.

VICTORY HERITAGE

Image
VICTORY HERITAGE         1 John 5:5-6 Devotional:- “Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” (V. 5) Oluremi AGBABIAKA · VICTORY HERITAGE    To all children of God, there is a heritage of victory in Christ Jesus. Victory is part of what Christ has provided for us in our redemptive package. This victory was gained by Christ on the cross. His death and resurrection is for all who believes in Him. As long as you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you are entitled to victory.
