  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. BUILDING YOUR FAITH            

Jude 16-25
Devotional:- “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit” (V. 20)


 

   A Christian who is not building up in faith will likely live a life of frustration. Such person will have to depend on others to move. This is because such cannot take responsibility to grow in faith. Growing faith is a personal adventure. No one can grow your faith for you. All that can be done for you is for God to use someone to provoke your faith.
 
   To grow in faith is to develop your courage to conquer in different areas of life; in the areas of health, finances, overcoming demonic affliction, overcoming family challenges and many others. It is developing in strength for all round victory. It is been strong enough to disallow and resist the devil whenever he shows his ugly head. It is becoming stronger than all his devices.
 
   To grow strong in faith is to give self to studying meditatively in the word of God. It is to give self to locating relevant books that teaches how to overcome in different areas of life. Each of us must keep building up. We build up as we acquire and keep demonstrating our faith in all situations. That makes us to be stronger than any coming challenges of life. Peace.
 
PRAYER: Lord, strengthen me to grow in faith.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
