  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. INNER STRENGTH

INNER STRENGTH             

Ephesians 3:14-21
Devotional:- “That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man” (V. 16)


   It is with the inner strength that you can live victoriously. It is not much of the outer strength. It is as strong as you are in your heart that determines how strong you will be. Life’s battle are fought in our heart. That is why it is often said that our heart is the battle ground of life.
 
   To build up the strength of our heart is to regularly fellowship with the God of power by meditating on the word of God daily. The Bible says, greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world (1 John 4:1). The word of God says we are the temple of God by the Holy Spirit that dwells in us (1 Corinthians 3:16-17). As a temple of God, we are untouchable. The word of God says the Spirit of God in us enables us to be free from the hand of the enemy (2 Corinthians 3:17).
 
   It is as we meditate in the word of God that the Holy Spirit reveals the mind of God to us. And this strengthens our inner man. This makes our heart to be courageous enough to confront any of the tricks of the devil and gain our victory. To stand in victory therefore is to gain the inner strength for continuous victory. Peace.
 
PRAYER: Lord, help me to gain strength by your word in my inner man

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
