THANK HIM FOR ALL

THANK HIM FOR ALL Zechariah 4:1-10 Devotional:- “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; His hands shall also finish it and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you” (V. 9) KJV In such a season as this, one of the weapons of the devil to steal the joy of many is discouragement. The enemy will make them see that God has not been good to them. He will make us to think of what God has not done, and not what He has done. He will make us compare ourselves to others and so one will see other people as better.   God can provide all that you need, and He is not mindful or unfaithful to you. He gave you the one you have today, but all that is good for your life. He will also give you if you can wait on Him by faith. Such time like this should challenge us to become better to do better. Every time you are not happy with your current situation, just know that a change is about to take place in your life. It is now you who will determine ...

VICTORY HERITAGE

VICTORY HERITAGE

1 John 5:5-6
Devotional:- “Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” (V. 5)

To all children of God, there is a heritage of victory in Christ Jesus. Victory is part of what Christ has provided for us in our redemptive package. This victory was gained by Christ on the cross. His death and resurrection is for all who believes in Him. As long as you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you are entitled to victory.

The word of God says; whatever is born of God overcomes. The word whatever is referring to living and non living things. To be born of God means to proceed from God. Whatever proceeds from God will overcome, as long as we can stand in faith. To overcome means to prevail over the opponent. It means to overpower the opponent.

As children of God, we are not to fight physically. The battle was finished on the cross (John 19:30). The victory has been given to all who will believe. That is why you will overcome at last. To enforce and claim łhis victory now has to be by faith. This is faith in the finished work of the cross. Remember, all powers in heaven and earth has being given to Jesus (Matthew 28:18). So to overcome, change your mind by accepting that you have Victory through Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57). Then open your mouth to keep declaring it (Job 22:28). And you will see your victory. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen me in faith for my victory

“BY FAITH IN CHRIST, ALL POWER CAN BOW TO YOU”
