MEDITATION

MEDITATION Psalm 1:1-6 Devotional:- “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night..” (v.2) NKJV      God’s word describes someone blessed because he/she meditates on the word of God, day and night. How can this be? The word of God is the source of inspiration that strengthens us to perform (John 1:1-3). The Bible told us that God is a spirit; therefore, meditating on the word of God is drawing on the strength of the spirit (John 6:63).

STAND IN VICTORY

STAND IN VICTORY

Psalms 20:1-9
Devotional:- “They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright” (V. 8)

So many people in the world today are actually standing for nothing specifically. It is often said that, he that stand for nothing, falls for all things. That is why it is important that you choose where to stand. No decision is worst more than bad decision. Choose where to stand (Joshua 24:15).

David said “some trust in chariots and others in horses, but we remember the name of the Lord our God. They have fallen and have risen and standing upright”. To stand in victory meant to make up one’s mind to stand in the victory provided on the Cross of Jesus. It is to believe in His victory for us (John 16:33). It is to be ready to risk one’s life than doubting the victory by the Cross of Jesus (John 19:30; Revelation 12:11).

Friend, it is good to play safe, but it is wisdom to stand in faith. You cannot overcome standing here and there. A little worldliness and a little godliness will fail (James 4:4, Revelation 3:15-16). A little faith and a little fear will not work (Job 3:25). Stop standing on the fence. Come into victory with Jesus. Stop being a lukewarm Christian. It is then you will see others fall but you will remain standing tall in Jesus name (Job 22:29). Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the courage to stand in you.
