THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. VICTORY MENTALITY

VICTORY MENTALITY

Psalms 16:1-11
Devotional -“I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved” (V. 8)

Every child of God should operate victory mentality contrary to defeat mentality that people carries around today. The moment a man operates a defeated mentality, such cannot overcome in life. The truth is that, Jesus has overcome for us, but it is important we walk in the mentality of victory before we can enjoy a life of victory.

David said in the book of Psalms “I have set the Lord always before me, so I shall not be moved”. By this, he meant my mind is set always on seeing that God is with me (Psalms 23:4-5). This is simply a mental picture called imagination. This is making a conclusion in our minds based on the promises of the word of God (Matthew 28:18-20).

Friend, you must always see that the Lord is with you, no matter what (Joshua 1:5). What you are going through should not dictate who you are or what you should be thinking. You are what God says you are. He said, you have His victory (Ephesians 1:20-21). He said, you are an overcomer (1 John 5:4). See, it is the way you see yourself in your mind that life will go for you (Proverbs 23:7). See it in your mind always that you are already victorious through Christ Jesus. That is your identity. Then your situations will have no option than to submit. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to keep a mentality of victory
