  JOY BEAUTIFIES Proverbs 15:10-20 Devotional:- “A glad heart makes a happy face; a broken heart crushes the spirit” (v.13) NLT It is important that people in this generation realise that joy is one of the secrets of beauty. There is no one who does not love to look beautiful in life; people do so much to preserve their beauty. The truth is that it charms the heart of men. It is a strength for influence. It is a language that both men and women understand. Someone who lacks beauty may also be lacking in the school of favour. Don’t let anyone deceive you that it is not necessary to be beautiful. In this world, the way you look determines the way you will be treated (1 Samuel 16:7). We only need to identify true and godly beauty. God’s word says, “Charm and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain [because it is not lasting], but a woman who reverently and worshipfully fears the Lord, she shall be praised!” (Proverbs 31:30) AMPC. INSISTING            

1 Samuel 1:8-18
Devotional: -“Then Elkanah her husband said to her, "Hannah, why do you weep? Why do you not eat? And why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?"” (V. 10)


 

   One of the factors of victory is the ability to stand strong to insist on your victory. No one is born defeated. No one is born to lose. We are all made to overcome. It is in this understanding that we should insist on our right. We should not allow our portion to be taken or hindered anyhow.
 
  Hannah was a woman of a sorrowful spirit. This happened to her because the other woman always provoked her. This made her life miserable often. She could not just take the situation anymore. There came a time that she made a resolution in her heart that the Lord must do her own. The convention was over, but she refused to go home. Her heart was made up to see the Lord, if truly God is in His house. The man of God took notice of her and she received a word from the Lord. You are the next.
 
   Friend, it takes a made up mind to enter into the blessing at all cost. We have to conclude what will be our portion at the end. We must learn to accept only the plan of God for our lives. We insist on having the will of God done in our lives. Giving up will make us defeated. Let us agree only with the counsel of God. Refuse to doubt (Romans 4:18-20) And at last, your victory shall stand. Peace.
 
PRAYER: Lord, give me the courage to stand and see your will done in my life.

Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
