  LOVE OF GOD I John 4:7-19 Devotional:- “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God” (V. 7) NIV You can hardly separate these two virtues; they are love and joy. They work together as twin brothers. You cannot love and not be joyful. In this season of joy, one of the things you must give room to for your joy to come is love. If you were not billing to love, you may not see joy. They have the same source; they both come from God (Psalm 16:11, 1 John 4:8) The scripture we read today said, Love comes from God and love is God. This means God cannot be in you and you can still hate. If you do, it is a sign that you are not born of God. You cannot be stealing and cheating, and you say you are a child of God. The bible teaches us how to truly demonstrate love. This is by following the example of God. He demonstrated His own love by giving us His most precious gift, Jesus Christ. INSISTING            

1 Samuel 1:8-18
Devotional: -“Then Elkanah her husband said to her, "Hannah, why do you weep? Why do you not eat? And why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?"” (V. 10)


 

   One of the factors of victory is the ability to stand strong to insist on your victory. No one is born defeated. No one is born to lose. We are all made to overcome. It is in this understanding that we should insist on our right. We should not allow our portion to be taken or hindered anyhow.
 
  Hannah was a woman of a sorrowful spirit. This happened to her because the other woman always provoked her. This made her life miserable often. She could not just take the situation anymore. There came a time that she made a resolution in her heart that the Lord must do her own. The convention was over, but she refused to go home. Her heart was made up to see the Lord, if truly God is in His house. The man of God took notice of her and she received a word from the Lord. You are the next.
 
   Friend, it takes a made up mind to enter into the blessing at all cost. We have to conclude what will be our portion at the end. We must learn to accept only the plan of God for our lives. We insist on having the will of God done in our lives. Giving up will make us defeated. Let us agree only with the counsel of God. Refuse to doubt (Romans 4:18-20) And at last, your victory shall stand. Peace.
 
PRAYER: Lord, give me the courage to stand and see your will done in my life.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
