  GOOD REPORT   Proverbs 15:28-33 Devotional:- “The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, And a good report makes the bones healthy” (v.30) NKJV Today, in the whole world, the only kind of news celebrated by men is bad news. The reporters have also realised that people want bad news. So, they hardly report good things. If you listen to the news, read from the media or browse through the net, it is all about evil things happening all over the world. This is the trick of the enemy to cage the sons of men into sorrow and break the flow of joy in the lives of the people. The scripture we read today says, “good report makes the heart glad”. You must recognise the principle of a joyful life. It is a product of regular joyful reports (Proverbs 25:25). It is what you love to hear that your life will look like (Mark 4:24). you must know you are a product of what you are hearing. INSISTING            

1 Samuel 1:8-18
Devotional: -“Then Elkanah her husband said to her, "Hannah, why do you weep? Why do you not eat? And why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?"” (V. 10)


 

   One of the factors of victory is the ability to stand strong to insist on your victory. No one is born defeated. No one is born to lose. We are all made to overcome. It is in this understanding that we should insist on our right. We should not allow our portion to be taken or hindered anyhow.
 
  Hannah was a woman of a sorrowful spirit. This happened to her because the other woman always provoked her. This made her life miserable often. She could not just take the situation anymore. There came a time that she made a resolution in her heart that the Lord must do her own. The convention was over, but she refused to go home. Her heart was made up to see the Lord, if truly God is in His house. The man of God took notice of her and she received a word from the Lord. You are the next.
 
   Friend, it takes a made up mind to enter into the blessing at all cost. We have to conclude what will be our portion at the end. We must learn to accept only the plan of God for our lives. We insist on having the will of God done in our lives. Giving up will make us defeated. Let us agree only with the counsel of God. Refuse to doubt (Romans 4:18-20) And at last, your victory shall stand. Peace.
 
PRAYER: Lord, give me the courage to stand and see your will done in my life.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
