DEFINE PLEASURE  Proverbs 21:12-21 Devotional:- “He who loves pleasure will be a poor man; He who loves wine and oil will not be rich.” (v. 17) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional DEFINE PLEASURE Support Us Proverbs 21:12-21 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com There is nothing wrong with pleasure, but there is a need to define what it means in a way that it will not bring destruction to you. Pleasure to most people means idleness, sleeping, jesting, watching T.V and all sorts of films, extravagant spending at beer parlous and hotels, eating in all the city kitchens and to some it is just travelling all around. The truth is that none of those things are real pleasure. If those things are what you call pleasures, then, no matter how much you have now, poverty and sorrow are on the way. INSISTING

INSISTING

1 Samuel 1:8-18
Devotional: -“Then Elkanah her husband said to her, "Hannah, why do you weep? Why do you not eat? And why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?"” (V. 10)

One of the factors of victory is the ability to stand strong to insist on your victory. No one is born defeated. No one is born to lose. We are all made to overcome. It is in this understanding that we should insist on our right. We should not allow our portion to be taken or hindered anyhow.

Hannah was a woman of a sorrowful spirit. This happened to her because the other woman always provoked her. This made her life miserable often. She could not just take the situation anymore. There came a time that she made a resolution in her heart that the Lord must do her own. The convention was over, but she refused to go home. Her heart was made up to see the Lord, if truly God is in His house. The man of God took notice of her and she received a word from the Lord. You are the next.

Friend, it takes a made up mind to enter into the blessing at all cost. We have to conclude what will be our portion at the end. We must learn to accept only the plan of God for our lives. We insist on having the will of God done in our lives. Giving up will make us defeated. Let us agree only with the counsel of God. Refuse to doubt (Romans 4:18-20) And at last, your victory shall stand. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the courage to stand and see your will done in my life.

“YOUR AGREEMENT WILL BECOME YOUR EXPERIENCE SOONER OR LATER”
