SUCCESS YOUR PURPOSE 2 Timothy 4:1-8 Devotional:- “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing” (V. 8) NLT When a person turns to the Lord, invite Jesus to his/her life, and surrender to Jesus as Lord and saviour, then he/she sincerely becomes a Christian. This is the state many in the church has not attained. Many struggle to surrender their lives to the Lord because they are afraid of failure, not able to trust God to give them success, and their love for the things of this world (1 John 2:15-17). When you sincerely surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your view of success cannot but change. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7). INSISTING            

1 Samuel 1:8-18
Devotional: -“Then Elkanah her husband said to her, "Hannah, why do you weep? Why do you not eat? And why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?"” (V. 10)


 

   One of the factors of victory is the ability to stand strong to insist on your victory. No one is born defeated. No one is born to lose. We are all made to overcome. It is in this understanding that we should insist on our right. We should not allow our portion to be taken or hindered anyhow.
 
  Hannah was a woman of a sorrowful spirit. This happened to her because the other woman always provoked her. This made her life miserable often. She could not just take the situation anymore. There came a time that she made a resolution in her heart that the Lord must do her own. The convention was over, but she refused to go home. Her heart was made up to see the Lord, if truly God is in His house. The man of God took notice of her and she received a word from the Lord. You are the next.
 
   Friend, it takes a made up mind to enter into the blessing at all cost. We have to conclude what will be our portion at the end. We must learn to accept only the plan of God for our lives. We insist on having the will of God done in our lives. Giving up will make us defeated. Let us agree only with the counsel of God. Refuse to doubt (Romans 4:18-20) And at last, your victory shall stand. Peace.
 
PRAYER: Lord, give me the courage to stand and see your will done in my life.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
