A FRIEND John 15:9-17  Devotional:- “...but l have called you friends…” (V. 15) In this generation, it is not a common thing to find true friends. This is someone who goes all out to see to your well-being. Someone who wants to identify with you in all situations. Someone who is not feeling fine until he sees you, someone who daily remembers to pray and intercede for you. It can be a terrible thing sometimes when you desire to share your mind with someone, and no one is willing to listen to you, or someone who could offer a little help. Sometimes we could be in need of a little encouragement, but no one to really do it. The people who are supposed to encourage us are the ones who misunderstand us and condemn us. We need to come to the understanding that God is our friend. He is not just your Lord and God. He always wants to listen to you. He is not happy when you are not (Hebrews 4:15). TIME TO STUDY

TIME TO STUDY

2 Timothy 2:14-26
Devotional :- “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (V. 26) KJV

A man that is not acquiring more and more knowledge cannot achieve much in life. The more you acquire knowledge, the better and more resourceful you will be (Proverbs 24:5). It is information that can stimulates us to act in faith to overcome. That is why the Bible says “it is not good for a soul to be without knowledge” (Proverbs 19:2). This is because the more expose you are to relevant information, the more the chances of taking quality decisions.

No man can be better than what he has stored in his memory system (Matthew 12:34-35). To beat the challenging circumstances, you must give yourself to studying. Finding out solution (Ecclesiastics 1:12-13). The formal education we acquired was a foundation laid for each of us. The real issues of life are not taught in the school.

Therefore, give yourself to studying. Enjoy reading and researching. Give yourself to finding out matters. You are more advantageous in these days of Google. There is hardly any information you cannot find online. This will make you rich enough when you are asked to speak or act in any occasion. You will be a wise contributor and a blessing to your generation in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me passion for knowledge.
