THE HEART OF WORSHIP

THE HEART OF WORSHIP Romans 6:1-14 Devotional:- “And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God” (V. 13) Since worship is our first purpose on earth we need to know that worship will not be worship if we don’t surrender to God. So, surrendering is the heart of worship. In our world today, surrender sound negative. It could mean to give up or losing or admit your defeat. But it is giving ourselves to God not out of fear or necessity but in love (1 John 4:9-19). Three things often attempt to block our mind from total surrendering to God, fear, pride and confusion. As kingdom citizen, please know it that you must learn to trust God. A woman will not be able to surrender to her husband if she does not trust him and so also you to God. To truly surrender to God, you must admit your weaknesses and limitations. That is when you truly want to ask ...

CHURCH FELLOWSHIP

CHURCH FELLOWSHIP

Psalms 84:1-12
Devotional:- “They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion” (V. 7)

The fellowship of the church is a place of strength for our victory. Only a strong man can win in the battle of life (Proverbs 24:10). Children of the living God are strong because God is strong. That is why you must not let the devil reduce the fellowship of the church to mere place of meeting with friends. It is what you take a thing to be that it will be to you.

The word of God referred to gathering of children of God as Mount Zion. It is called the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, where there is innumerable company of angels. The general assembly and the church of the first born that are registered in heaven. God is always there, Jesus is always there. In the church, the blood speak better things (Hebrews 12:22-24).

That is why; those who imbibe the habit of being in God’s house will go from strength to strength. You cannot be in fellowship with God and be weak. You must be careful not to allow what you are going through to determine who you will be. The project that fails in your hand does not make you a failure. That you are going through a challenge does not mean your church is a disappointment. If Jesus can go through challenges, then, all of us will (Luke 23:31; John 16:33). Challenges are there to make us strong (Hebrews 12:11, Hebrews 5:8). So, it should not be the reason to turn you away from the church Jesus. It is as you hold on, that you become victorious. Be wise. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to connect to your house for my victory.
