ACKNOWLEDGING HIM

ACKNOWLEDGING HIM Proverbs 3:1-8  Devotional:- “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (v.6) KJV. To be able to enjoy God’s loving kindness, all of us must learn to always acknowledge God in all our decision-making. This simply means that we recognise Him as our owner and the one who is qualified to instruct us on where to turn. When we gave our lives to Christ, we all confessed Jesus as our Lord. This means we acknowledge Him as the one who has the final decision over our lives. But we often forget to carry Him along in making decisions that will, in the end, have a great adverse effect on our lives. If we are to enjoy the love and the goodness of the Lord, we must learn to acknowledge Him. And this is by patiently asking Him for His instructions for us. The truth is that He will always guide us. He said, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalms 32:8). The truth is that you are gu...

CONQUERING

CONQUERING

Psalms 110:1-7
Devotional:- “The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool" (V. 1)

To be victorious, is to conquer the power that stands against you. A victorious Christian is the one that is standing strong and refusing to be defeated. A victorious Christian is the one that faces his challenge and stand strong till he gains victory. A victorious Christian is the one who does not give in to the tricks of the devil. To be victorious is to put the devil right under your feet (Romans 16:20).

The Bible says the way to achieve this is to sit at the right hand of the Lord. To sit at the right hand of God is to sit in the place of His power. To sit in the place of His power means to sit where you command forces by the authority of God (Luke 10:19, Psalm 103:20).

This can only happen as we walk in the faith of the word of God. The word of God says Jesus receive the great power of God and is now sited at the right hand of the father. This place is far above the reach of the powers of the devil (Ephesians 1:19-22). The Bible also says God has given Jesus this position for the church. We are now sited with him in the heavenly place (Ephesians 2:4-6). When your faith can comprehend this revelation, then, you will be strong enough to see the devil under your feet. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen me in faith to sit at your right hand.
