  JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

WALL OF FIRE         

Zechariah 2:1-10
Devotional:- “For I,' says the Lord, 'will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.'" (V. 5)


 

    Someone standing in victory of Christ is heavily protected. The forces of God are always surrounding him/her (2 kings 6:15-17). They are a wall of fire around him/her. That is why you must stand in faith of the word of God. To stand in Christ victory is to meditate in the word of His victory till His victory becomes your victory.
 
    The word of God says God will be a wall of fire around you and your family. This means, you will be untouchable for the forces of wickedness (Job 1:8-10). The word of God says, if God be for us, who can be against us (Romans 8:31). You will enjoy these blessings when you choose to accept the promises of the word of God. Meditate over it till it become part of you.
 
    Friend, the devil is becoming more terribly wicked (Revelation 12:12). It is the reason why you cannot just be living ordinarily. Learn to carry the reality of the scriptures wherever you are. Your God is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29). None of the forces against you can withstand Him. You are the one to allow Him by your faith. Then, you will be highly protected. Peace.
 
PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to live by the truth of your word.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
