  OVERFLOWING WITH JOY Psalm 23:1-6 Devotional:- “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over” (v.5) NKJV It is the will of God in this season to fill your life with good things until you overflow with joy. This is not God’s plan for a few people but for all mankind. He intends to make everyone overflow with the good things of life. What does it mean to overflow? This simply means God want everyone to experience an abundance of good things and then flow out to others (John 10:10).  King David was sharing the testimony of his own overflowing experience. Though the enemies wanted to stop him, the Lord did it for him. Despite all the challenges and hurdles he has to pass through yet God brought him to his overflowing experience. STRENGTH           

Psalms 18:21-30
Devotional:- “For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall” (V. 29)


 

   For a man to stand in victory, he must be courageous, confident and strong. God keep speaking to Joshua, “you need to be bold and courageous” (Joshua 1:5-9). His assignment was to lead Israel to fight, conquer and apportion them their inheritance. This task cannot be accompanied without been confident and courageous. Fearful people cannot achieve such task.
 
    David also gave the testimony of his ability and it was all by the Lord. David told us of how much he was able to run through a troop and leap over the wall. That was a great strength beyond his power. David revealed the secret of his strength to us in Psalms 18:28. He said it is the Lord who lightens his lamps and enlightened his darkness.
 
    Friend, strength comes by light. This light is the revelation of the word and the power of God to your mind. What makes a man gain the strength in His spirit and stimulate his mind for uncommon strength to act supernaturally is revelation of the word of God. This will always take you to a new realm of strength in your spirit man. And you will be strong enough for victory. Peace.
 
PRAYER: Lord, give me grace to always swim in your strength.

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
