THANK HIM FOR ALL

THANK HIM FOR ALL Zechariah 4:1-10 Devotional:- “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; His hands shall also finish it and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you” (V. 9) KJV In such a season as this, one of the weapons of the devil to steal the joy of many is discouragement. The enemy will make them see that God has not been good to them. He will make us to think of what God has not done, and not what He has done. He will make us compare ourselves to others and so one will see other people as better.   God can provide all that you need, and He is not mindful or unfaithful to you. He gave you the one you have today, but all that is good for your life. He will also give you if you can wait on Him by faith. Such time like this should challenge us to become better to do better. Every time you are not happy with your current situation, just know that a change is about to take place in your life. It is now you who will determine ...

RESISTING

RESISTING

1 Samuel 5:5-11
Devotional :- “So it was, after they had carried it away, that the hand of the Lord was against the city with a very great destruction; and He struck the men of the city, both small and great, and tumors broke out on them” (V. 9)

A very strong factor of strength is ability to stand against the opponent. It is he that stands against or resists other that is known to be the strongest. That is why you cannot keep sitting down in defeat, you must know what it takes to arise and resist or stand against the forces that are intimidating your life and destiny.

The word of God says we should humble ourselves before God. It is then we will be able to operate under the mighty hand of God (James 4:7). Stop carrying your problems all about as though you are the only one that has problem. Learn to trust God to take care of them all. It is as you humble yourself before God that He will start to reveal his strength in your victory (Psalms 25:9). It is humility to know and accept that you need God to win. The word of God says we should resist the devil in faith (1 Peter 5:9). This means, it takes stimulation by the word in faith to be able to stop the devil.

It is therefore important you gather the strength of faith to stand against what is against you from now. This we do in the place of prayers (Act 4:23-25). Don’t give in to failure.  Don’t live and accept defeat. Gain wisdom to correct whatever you are doing wrongly. Build up faith by studying the word of God (Romans 10:17). Then you will be strong enough to resist the forces against you and stand in your victory in Jesus name. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, help me to be humble to take your strength

“IF YOU ARE NOT RESISTING, YOU WILL BE RESISTED”
