TAKE NO OFFENCE Luke 7:18-30 Devotional:- “And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me” (v.23) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional TAKE NO OFFENCE Support Us Luke 7:18-30 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Sometimes, men easily get offended. That is, they get annoyed and refuse to relate to one another. Many of us have some people we don’t greet now on this account. Some people have taken offence at their parents and relations, and they refused to relate to them. The truth is that if you know the harm you are doing to yourself by so doing, you will give up on this.   In the scripture we read today, John the Baptist was not happy because Jesus did not come to rescue him from prison, and he took offence at Christ. He sent messengers to Jesus to ask if He was the Christ or not. This question see...

CONTINUOUS PROMOTION

CONTINUOUS PROMOTION

James 1:12-20
Devotional:- “Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him” (V. 12)

The reason why a child of God should keep living a victorious life is because by it, we keep having our promotion in the strength of the spirit. Every time a child of God overcome a challenge the revelation and the faith that gives us victory becomes our testimony and make us to have a new rank in God.

That is why the Bible tells us not to blame anyone for going through challenges (James 1:13-14). We are challenged because it is our weakness that allows it. When a Christian is not praying very well or relaxing in relating with God or in studying the Bible or serving, the devil will soon take advantage to sneak into his life and cause a problem. That is when the presence of God we use to avoid, becomes where we will run to (Psalm 34:4).

This makes us to awake and rise up in God to find our victory. Though, it ought not to be so, but it’s like, that’s how we are. So, whenever you are faced with any kind of challenge in most cases, it’s because your spiritual tyre is deflated. You will need to search your way out and double up in strength (Isaiah 59:1-2). So, warm up, arise and face your challenges. Stop running about. You are up to it (1 Corinthians 10:13; 1 John 4:4). You are about to overcome and move to a new realm of power. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen me to arise

“WE ARE BOUND TO OVERCOME FOR OUR PROMOTION”
