CELEBRATION 2 Chronicles 30:21-27 Devotional:- “So there was great joy in Jerusalem, for since the time of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, there had been nothing like this in Jerusalem” (v.26) NKJV When we make ourselves available for the service of the Lord, we plug our lives into joy. This is because we are actually created to serve the Lord (Revelation 4:11). And when anyone finds himself doing what he is created to do, he finds fulfilment. The children of Israel in the time of Hezekiah, the king, gathered together to celebrate the feast of Passover. This was one of the feasts God commanded. This celebration is an opportunity to serve the Lord. They came together to yield in obedience to God’s instruction, and this produced great joy among them. Some cooking, some cleaning and others involved in other things just to make the feast successful. See, you need to know that you are not just created to go to school, work, earn, build a house, buy cars, have a wife, childre...

CELEBRATION

CELEBRATION

Isaiah 9:1-7
Devotional:- “You have multiplied the nation And increased its joy; They rejoice before You According to the joy of harvest, As men rejoice when they divide the spoil” (V. 3)

When a people are celebrating and rejoicing, something must have happened to them. It is either they have received a new blessing from the Lord or they have conquered their enemies (Psalms 126:1-3; Isaiah 9:3-4). That is why we must stand in victory to keep our celebration and joy.

As a people standing in victory, we don't wait for anything to make us rejoice or celebrate. We live by faith of our great expectations of both victor and blessings (Romance 1:17). We don't allow situation to dictates our mood. We create what we want to see in our life today and the future according to the word of God, by standing in victory every day (Proverbs 23:18).

Friend, don't let anything that is happening or not happening tamper with your joy and celebration. Your joy and celebration is an instrument of strength (Nehemiah 8:10). It opens you up to light or divine ideas for your progress and victory and so you can plan with it. Your joy is the mystery of your blessings (Isaiah 12:3). Your joy is what guarantees your coming harvest (Psalms 126:5-6). In the midst of all situations, rejoice (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). You will make it in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to keep operating the wisdom of joy.

“IT IS JOY THAT KEEPS YOU IN TOTAL JOY”
