WORK IT OUT

WORK IT OUT Romans 8:18-30  Devotional:- “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” (V. 28). NKJV Due to the time and distance that is involved in our period of challenges, we tend to think it is an eternal race. But that is not true. Whatever has a beginning surely have an end. Therefore, there is an end to everything. And we know the end is always glorious than the beginning (Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 8:30). The scripture we read today brings us into God’s provision for our beautiful end in every situation and that is why the bible says all things are working together for our good. So no matter the embarrassment of your situation, God’s love letter to you is promising you that it shall work for your good. Do you lose a job or an opportunity? It is for a better one. So you don’t need to die for that. Let the past pass and expect your coming beauty. It doesn’t matter; people may mock you now,...

RESTORATION

RESTORATION

1 Samuel 30:1-8
Devotional:- “So David inquired of the Lord, saying, "Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?" And He answered him, "Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all."” (V. 8)

Standing in victory will make a man to find recovery and restoration. People who take defeat as a mentality will always give up in every battle of life. People with the heart of faith for their victory will always see in their mind a restoration of whatever the enemy may have taken away from them (Joel 2:25).
David and his army were looted of their goods and people. That was not the end of the event. Yes, they turned back to the Lord because they didn't have a defeated mentality. Some people often think that evil can prevail over them. That is why they don't see the need to grow their strength in God. They live all of that to the Pastor.

Friend, ability to overcome is not created to be for the Pastors alone. It is for all children of God (Mark 16:17-18). The Bible didn't say “these signs shall follow the Pastors and the Prophets” but everyone who believes. See, your Pastor is like a coach. You are the footballer. He is to prepare you for your victory in life but you must take responsibility to win. Whatever has been taken away from you this year is coming back. You only need to return back to God and obey Him (Zechariah 9:12). Your portion shall be restored in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, guide me to my restoration.
