WAITING ON THE LORD 2 Samuel 5:1-10 Devotional:- “David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years” (v.4) NKJV One of the good virtues of God we must always appreciate is His faithfulness. God is not a man that will lie; whatever He has said in His word, He is able to do and He shall do. You can always plug yourself into His promises as much as you work in His covenants. I always tell people never to think God’s word is written only to some specific persons we hear or read about in the Bible. The word of God is the standard practice and programme of God. They were only privileged to be the ones to receive the word at their time, but God is still the same, and so is His word. In claiming the word of God, you must learn to be able to patiently wait. People who will retain their joy must add this virtue to their life (Hebrews 6:12). COURAGE AND CONFIDENCE               

Proverbs 28:1-5
Devotional:-“The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold as a lion” (V. 1) NKJV



   The cleansing power of the word of God works to purify and release the Spirit of righteousness into the heart of people.  When a heart is gaining righteousness by the word of the Lord, it gains boldness. Courage and confidence are the products of a clean and clear mind. When someone has nothing to hide, he becomes bold in defending himself and claiming his right.
 
   The word of God says, a sinner runs when no one pursues, but the righteous is as bold as a lion. It is sin that brings condemnation, but the righteousness of God makes a man bold. To live in righteousness is to live and stand right with God. The word of God teaches us of how to stand right with God. Righteousness is standing right where God is standing. The word of God is the word of righteousness. To be confidence is to be sure of a backing. The word of God assures us of the backing of God (Psalms 23:4). To be courageous is by the right spirit and this is the Spirit of the word of God.
 
   Friend, it is important that you open the doors of your heart to the word of God. It will produce courage and confidence in your heart. It will build faith in you and make you courageous to confronts the devil (Romans 10:17). By the word of God, you will conquer in your life in Jesus name. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, help me to gain strength by your word.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
