  JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

COURAGE AND CONFIDENCE               

Proverbs 28:1-5
Devotional:-“The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold as a lion” (V. 1) NKJV



   The cleansing power of the word of God works to purify and release the Spirit of righteousness into the heart of people.  When a heart is gaining righteousness by the word of the Lord, it gains boldness. Courage and confidence are the products of a clean and clear mind. When someone has nothing to hide, he becomes bold in defending himself and claiming his right.
 
   The word of God says, a sinner runs when no one pursues, but the righteous is as bold as a lion. It is sin that brings condemnation, but the righteousness of God makes a man bold. To live in righteousness is to live and stand right with God. The word of God teaches us of how to stand right with God. Righteousness is standing right where God is standing. The word of God is the word of righteousness. To be confidence is to be sure of a backing. The word of God assures us of the backing of God (Psalms 23:4). To be courageous is by the right spirit and this is the Spirit of the word of God.
 
   Friend, it is important that you open the doors of your heart to the word of God. It will produce courage and confidence in your heart. It will build faith in you and make you courageous to confronts the devil (Romans 10:17). By the word of God, you will conquer in your life in Jesus name. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, help me to gain strength by your word.
 
“THE COURAGE OF THE RIGHTEOUS WILL ALWAYS OVERCOME “

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
