HE NEVER CONDEMNS

HE NEVER CONDEMNS John 8:1-11  Devotional:- “She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”” (V. 11) NKJV One of the tricks the devil often used against man is to make us feel condemned. To be condemned is a feeling of self-judgment. It is the act of judging oneself to death when God has not. A man with condemnation cannot be bold or courageous. He cannot exercise faith. He cannot take a risk and so cannot find it easy to succeed. The truth is that God does not condemn man. So it is like man to feel condemned, and it is the handiwork of the devil. It was said about Jesus, “for God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).  God has appointed Jesus to judge the earth. But that is not now. Condemnation is a feeling that one has been written off and is not worthy of living anymore. The only people who will face God’s final condemnation are those who refused to...

CONVERTING SOULS

CONVERTING SOULS

Psalms 19:1-14
Devotional:-“The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple” (V. 7) NKJV

The word of God is powerful enough to convert souls. This is one of the most difficult tasks to carry out. A man or a woman can easily repent but their soul may not be converted easily. When you see a converted soul, he is the one who have totally changed, contrary to what he used to do or say. Someone who is ready to ague to death saying A is good and B is bad and now ready to die to say B is good and A is bad, that a genuine conversion.

The word of God says, the power of the word of God can convert soul. This was the experience of Saul of Tarsus who became Paul the Apostle. He was ready to die for his Jewish religion. But after an encounter with Jesus, he was converted and preached the gospel he was once killing people for (Acts 9:1-9; 20-21). Remember, Jesus is the word of God (John 1:14). That is why the word is powerful enough to convert.

When someone is stubborn around you, all you need to do is to pray for the person to encounter the word of God. He will be broken down and completely changed. This is the power of the word of God.  Please take advantage that your family is young and together. Keep sharing the word daily and the family shall be converted. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, convert the soul of all the members of my family by your word.

“NO SOUL CAN REFUSE THE WORD OF HIS MAKER”
