WORRY-FREE LIFE  Matthew 6:25–34 Devotional:- Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? He that is not careful, will fall into many troubles. What Jesus is teaching us to avoid in life is the kind of care that makes us carry on our head what is wrong in our lives, and these all reflect on us. This is a level of anxiety. A careful man will observe his way and succeed, but an anxious man will be weeping in hopelessness. A careful man will avoid what can make him sick, but an anxious man will have a burden that produces sickness. The instruction of Jesus is therefore telling us to avoid carrying a burden of anxiety. BREAKING HABITS

BREAKING HABITS

Jeremiah 23:25-29
Devotional:- “"Is not My word like a fire?" says the Lord, "And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?”” (V. 29) NKJV

One of the most difficult things for humanity to change is habits. It is a blessing of the Lord that we are able to form habits. These are behaviors that we demonstrate with little or no thinking. Habits determine failure or success of people on earth. Habits determine poverty or riches. Habits determine strength or weakness. Habits are what we are used to do and have become reflect actions for us.

The word of God is said to be hammer and fire. No matter how hard a heart may be, the word of God can break it down. Habits are long repeated behaviors that have become part and parcel of us. It is bad habits that produces failure and good habits creates success. To be able to break bad habits like smoking, drunkenness or others, you must begin to study and meditate on the word of God. As you continue consistently, you will start to experience the cleansing power of the word of God till you start to see the change effected in you (Psalms 19:7)

Friend, if you can give yourself to the word of God, God will change the bad and failure habits in you to good ones. As you keep meditating over the word of God, the truth will start to cleanse you and convert your soul to a right one. Then, good and success habits will start to develop in you (Psalms 1:1-3). And you will become successful. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, change my life for good by your word.

“GOD’S WORD WILL PLANT THE HABITS OF HIS GOODNESS”
