HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT

HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. If you only serve when it is convenient, then you are not a good servant (2 Timothy 2:4). Real servants pay attention to needs, always lo...

BUILDS FAITH

BUILDS FAITH

Romans 10:14-18
Devotional:-“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (V. 17) NKJV

It is by faith spiritual blessings can be made physical. It is by faith that human can turn their spiritual blessings to physical. Man is made to be part of creation but this can only happen by faith (Hebrews 11:40). God’s answer to prayers can only be downloaded by faith (Mark 11:24). This makes faith one of the vital virtue that all of us must grow to use daily.

The Bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. You will notice that the word hearing is mentioned twice. In producing faith, you must hear the word twice (Psalms 16:11). The first hearing is with any of the five senses. The second hearing is with the mind, through meditation (Joshua 1:8). To grow in faith, you must take the word of God to meditation, which is engaging the mind. This allows the mind to think, decide and act. It is the action that is called faith. Every word you meditate on will always move you to action (Joshua 1:8).

Therefore, to be able to gain faith for your healing, provision, progress or open door, you must learn to meditate on the word of God. That is why faith does not fail because it is you and God. Begin to love the word of God and it will produce the faith in you for your achievements. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, put the love of your word in my heart.

“NO WORD NO FAITH, NO FAITH NO WORLD”
