  MAKING GOD HAPPY Numbers 6:22-27 Devotional:- “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (V. 25 NLT) One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time (Job 1:8). Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation (Genesis 6:8). We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him. To make God happy, we must love Him supremely (Luke 14:26). No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9). To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. LIFE                

John 1:1-5
Devotional:“In Him was life, and the life was the light of men” (V. 4) NKJV
 
 
 
    Jesus is the author of life (Act 3:15). This is because He brought the entirety of the life of God into man (Ephesians 3:19). That is why in Christ Jesus, we have the abundance of the life of God (John 10:10). Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead (Colossians 2:9). That is, all of God is in Christ Jesus. He is the word of God and by the power of the word of God, we can be connected to the life of God.
 
   The life of God is the Spirit of God. The spirit of God is the creator of life i.e. the God’s kind of life, which is eternal life (John 3:16). Eternal life is a life that does not end. Remember, life is the opposite of death. Death in the Bible language means separation from the God of life (Genesis 2:16-17). Which means the life Jesus brought is eternal connection with God (Matthew 28:20). This is the power in the word of God (John 1:4).
 
   That is why everyone who takes time to study and meditate in the word of God had the life of God by the spirit of the word transmitted to them. That is why, children of God must daily study the word of God like eating (Luke 4:4). Remember that the Father, the Word and the Spirit are one (1 John 5:7), so they work together to influence a life for glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). This life terminates bad habit, bad behavior, fear and disconnection but plant forgiveness and peace with God. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, help me never to be disconnected from your eternal life.
 
“DISCONNECTION FROM THE WORD IS DISCONNECTION FROM ETERNAL LIFE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
