HOPE Psalm 42:1-11 Devotional:- “Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God” (v.11) NKJV If any man will experience sustaining joy, he must first be hopeful. Hope is the strength of joy. Hope is the reason for the coming joy. It is an expectation according to the will of God. It is an assurance of a coming joy (Hebrews 12:2). It is also the strength of faith (Hebrews 11:1). If there is no hope, there may also not be joy, but a man of hope will continue in joy. Oftentimes, we observe the current happenings around us, and it looks like there is no hope. The truth is that current events are not the determining factor for our tomorrow. God’s word says we cannot compare the suffering of now to the glory that is coming (Romans 8:18). LIFE                

John 1:1-5
Devotional:“In Him was life, and the life was the light of men” (V. 4) NKJV
 
 
 
    Jesus is the author of life (Act 3:15). This is because He brought the entirety of the life of God into man (Ephesians 3:19). That is why in Christ Jesus, we have the abundance of the life of God (John 10:10). Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead (Colossians 2:9). That is, all of God is in Christ Jesus. He is the word of God and by the power of the word of God, we can be connected to the life of God.
 
   The life of God is the Spirit of God. The spirit of God is the creator of life i.e. the God’s kind of life, which is eternal life (John 3:16). Eternal life is a life that does not end. Remember, life is the opposite of death. Death in the Bible language means separation from the God of life (Genesis 2:16-17). Which means the life Jesus brought is eternal connection with God (Matthew 28:20). This is the power in the word of God (John 1:4).
 
   That is why everyone who takes time to study and meditate in the word of God had the life of God by the spirit of the word transmitted to them. That is why, children of God must daily study the word of God like eating (Luke 4:4). Remember that the Father, the Word and the Spirit are one (1 John 5:7), so they work together to influence a life for glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). This life terminates bad habit, bad behavior, fear and disconnection but plant forgiveness and peace with God. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, help me never to be disconnected from your eternal life.
 
“DISCONNECTION FROM THE WORD IS DISCONNECTION FROM ETERNAL LIFE”

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
