  MEDIATING Hebrews 8:1-13 Devotional:- “But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises” (V. 6) NKJV In the Old Testament, the human priest used to stand in the gap between God and man. But because they are also human and can also sin, their priesthood was not able to actually deliver the human race. This is the ministry Jesus is carrying out on behalf of the believers since His ascension to heaven.  This ministry was taken over by Jesus because He loves us. Though He is seated on the throne but sitting closely to the Father to advocate for us. A mediator is someone who stands in the gap between the benefactor and the beneficiary. He is the one who pleads our cause to God. He is the one who intercedes for us before the Father. That is why we can be certain of our faith in God through Christ Jesus. LIFE                

John 1:1-5
Devotional:“In Him was life, and the life was the light of men” (V. 4) NKJV
 
 
 
    Jesus is the author of life (Act 3:15). This is because He brought the entirety of the life of God into man (Ephesians 3:19). That is why in Christ Jesus, we have the abundance of the life of God (John 10:10). Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead (Colossians 2:9). That is, all of God is in Christ Jesus. He is the word of God and by the power of the word of God, we can be connected to the life of God.
 
   The life of God is the Spirit of God. The spirit of God is the creator of life i.e. the God’s kind of life, which is eternal life (John 3:16). Eternal life is a life that does not end. Remember, life is the opposite of death. Death in the Bible language means separation from the God of life (Genesis 2:16-17). Which means the life Jesus brought is eternal connection with God (Matthew 28:20). This is the power in the word of God (John 1:4).
 
   That is why everyone who takes time to study and meditate in the word of God had the life of God by the spirit of the word transmitted to them. That is why, children of God must daily study the word of God like eating (Luke 4:4). Remember that the Father, the Word and the Spirit are one (1 John 5:7), so they work together to influence a life for glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). This life terminates bad habit, bad behavior, fear and disconnection but plant forgiveness and peace with God. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, help me never to be disconnected from your eternal life.
 
“DISCONNECTION FROM THE WORD IS DISCONNECTION FROM ETERNAL LIFE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
