  ENVY NO ONE Genesis 37:1-11  Devotional:- “And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind.” (V.11) NKJV For a man to enjoy God’s love being wonderfully demonstrated to him, he must constitute a habit of not envying anyone. This is the reason why many cannot demonstrate genuine love to others. It is time you begin to understand that your value is not comparable. Envy is an emotional act people put on when they feel someone is better than them. Envy is always the mother of negative jealousy. It breeds bitterness and pushes people to commit all kinds of crimes. Some people’s reason for being armed robbers is that since they could not make it legitimately, they must go and get it by force from the hands of those who have made it. LIFE                

John 1:1-5
Devotional:“In Him was life, and the life was the light of men” (V. 4) NKJV
 
 
 
    Jesus is the author of life (Act 3:15). This is because He brought the entirety of the life of God into man (Ephesians 3:19). That is why in Christ Jesus, we have the abundance of the life of God (John 10:10). Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead (Colossians 2:9). That is, all of God is in Christ Jesus. He is the word of God and by the power of the word of God, we can be connected to the life of God.
 
   The life of God is the Spirit of God. The spirit of God is the creator of life i.e. the God’s kind of life, which is eternal life (John 3:16). Eternal life is a life that does not end. Remember, life is the opposite of death. Death in the Bible language means separation from the God of life (Genesis 2:16-17). Which means the life Jesus brought is eternal connection with God (Matthew 28:20). This is the power in the word of God (John 1:4).
 
   That is why everyone who takes time to study and meditate in the word of God had the life of God by the spirit of the word transmitted to them. That is why, children of God must daily study the word of God like eating (Luke 4:4). Remember that the Father, the Word and the Spirit are one (1 John 5:7), so they work together to influence a life for glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). This life terminates bad habit, bad behavior, fear and disconnection but plant forgiveness and peace with God. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, help me never to be disconnected from your eternal life.
 
“DISCONNECTION FROM THE WORD IS DISCONNECTION FROM ETERNAL LIFE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
