  ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. THE LORD OF HOST               

Psalm 46:1-11
Devotional: -“The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge” (V. 7) NKJV
 
   Jesus is the Lord of hosts. That is, He is the head of the army or the forces of God. Remember the forces of God carries out the word of God and Jesus is the commander in Chief (Ephesians 1:17-23). He is the Lord of hosts. That is why you need not to be afraid (Psalm 23:4). Your Savior, your Redeemer, your Lord is the head of the army of God (Philippians 2:9-11).
 
   The word of God says, the Lord of hosts is with us, the God of Jacob is our refuge. Jesus earns this position because He came to die for the sin of humanity. No one else has done such a sacrifice, acceptable to God for the remission of the human sin and redemption of his soul. Because Jesus humbled Himself to die for the sin of humanity God gave Him this exalted position of authority (Philippians 2:9). That is why we are to pray in the name of Jesus (Philippians 2:10) This makes the word of God so powerful. As the commander of the host of God, all you need to call is His name, ‘Jesus’ and the host will respond.
 
   Friend, you need to believe and accept the truth of the power in the word of God. You must learn to keep speaking it, you must learn to always remember that the Lord of host, who is your Saviour will always bring it to past. He was in battle with Joshua (Joshua 5:14). He was in the fire with the three Hebrews (Daniel 3:24-25). He is always with you (Psalms 46:11). Always declare the word in His name and it will not fail. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, help me never to lose sight of your presence.
 
“WHEN YOU HAVE THE COMMANDER, YOU HAVE THE COMMAND”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
