HOURS OF PRAYER  Acts 3:1-10 Devotional:- “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V.1) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional HOUSE OF PRAYER Support Us Acts 3:1-10 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Most people only pray or want to pray when they are faced with challenges. But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). Jesus spent many of his nights praying and the days working. And when He was teaching the disciples, He said, “Pray lest you fall into te...

THE LORD OF HOST

THE LORD OF HOST

Psalm 46:1-11
Devotional: -“The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge” (V. 7) NKJV

Jesus is the Lord of hosts. That is, He is the head of the army or the forces of God. Remember the forces of God carries out the word of God and Jesus is the commander in Chief (Ephesians 1:17-23). He is the Lord of hosts. That is why you need not to be afraid (Psalm 23:4). Your Savior, your Redeemer, your Lord is the head of the army of God (Philippians 2:9-11).

The word of God says, the Lord of hosts is with us, the God of Jacob is our refuge. Jesus earns this position because He came to die for the sin of humanity. No one else has done such a sacrifice, acceptable to God for the remission of the human sin and redemption of his soul. Because Jesus humbled Himself to die for the sin of humanity God gave Him this exalted position of authority (Philippians 2:9). That is why we are to pray in the name of Jesus (Philippians 2:10) This makes the word of God so powerful. As the commander of the host of God, all you need to call is His name, ‘Jesus’ and the host will respond.

Friend, you need to believe and accept the truth of the power in the word of God. You must learn to keep speaking it, you must learn to always remember that the Lord of host, who is your Saviour will always bring it to past. He was in battle with Joshua (Joshua 5:14). He was in the fire with the three Hebrews (Daniel 3:24-25). He is always with you (Psalms 46:11). Always declare the word in His name and it will not fail. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me never to lose sight of your presence.
