  TIME OF CELEBRATION  2 Samuel 6:11-23 Devotional:- “Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod” (V. 14) NKJV As much as this season is tagged with much celebration, the enemy often tries to see how he could poison the joy of many people to remove them from the list of people who will celebrate. It will be wisdom for you to know that happiness and sorrow are a choice. I will advise you to choose to rejoice in hope and leave sorrow for the enemy (Romans 5:22). In the scripture we read today, David and all the people were in a mood of celebration because of the advent of the ark of the Lord. But a lady could not see what was worth celebrating, and she took offence at David’s elegant celebration. And she remains barren till her death. Friend, if the coming of the ark of the Lord is sufficient to lose celebration, how much more the coming of Christ, the Son of God. Don’t let the devil push you to sorrow corner in a time like this. THE LORD OF HOST               

Psalm 46:1-11
Devotional: -“The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge” (V. 7) NKJV
 
   Jesus is the Lord of hosts. That is, He is the head of the army or the forces of God. Remember the forces of God carries out the word of God and Jesus is the commander in Chief (Ephesians 1:17-23). He is the Lord of hosts. That is why you need not to be afraid (Psalm 23:4). Your Savior, your Redeemer, your Lord is the head of the army of God (Philippians 2:9-11).
 
   The word of God says, the Lord of hosts is with us, the God of Jacob is our refuge. Jesus earns this position because He came to die for the sin of humanity. No one else has done such a sacrifice, acceptable to God for the remission of the human sin and redemption of his soul. Because Jesus humbled Himself to die for the sin of humanity God gave Him this exalted position of authority (Philippians 2:9). That is why we are to pray in the name of Jesus (Philippians 2:10) This makes the word of God so powerful. As the commander of the host of God, all you need to call is His name, ‘Jesus’ and the host will respond.
 
   Friend, you need to believe and accept the truth of the power in the word of God. You must learn to keep speaking it, you must learn to always remember that the Lord of host, who is your Saviour will always bring it to past. He was in battle with Joshua (Joshua 5:14). He was in the fire with the three Hebrews (Daniel 3:24-25). He is always with you (Psalms 46:11). Always declare the word in His name and it will not fail. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, help me never to lose sight of your presence.

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
