  ENVY NO ONE Genesis 37:1-11  Devotional:- “And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind.” (V.11) NKJV For a man to enjoy God’s love being wonderfully demonstrated to him, he must constitute a habit of not envying anyone. This is the reason why many cannot demonstrate genuine love to others. It is time you begin to understand that your value is not comparable. Envy is an emotional act people put on when they feel someone is better than them. Envy is always the mother of negative jealousy. It breeds bitterness and pushes people to commit all kinds of crimes. Some people’s reason for being armed robbers is that since they could not make it legitimately, they must go and get it by force from the hands of those who have made it. RECEIVE IT                

1 Samuel 1:12-18
Devotional: -“And she said,"Let your maidservant find favor in your sight." So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad” (V. 18) NKJV

    The word of God is the power of God. Through it, many great things have been done on earth. But as powerful as the word, as much as it will not work often when people don't receive it. We have heard the word of God in multiple times but not all are effective or working in our lives. One of the reasons is because we don't receive the word spoken to us. Saying Amen, is not completely a sign of receiving the word spoken to us.

 
   The word of God says, Hannah said, “Let your maid servant find favor in your sight”. So, she wiped her face and was no longer sad. She gave two responses to the word of God. The first was that, she received the word and the second thing was that, she acted by faith. You cannot receive the word and not act by faith (Hebrews 4:2). It is the action of faith that will make the word to work for you.
 
   To receive the word is to personify it for yourself or take it as though it is coming for you personally. Note that God’s word is written to all; though, the speaker is speaking to all in the service, whenever you receive the word personally, the word become yours. You will know when you have received a word by your actions of faith. Always receive the word and it will always work for you. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to always personify your word.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
