  GOOD REPORT   Proverbs 15:28-33 Devotional:- “The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, And a good report makes the bones healthy” (v.30) NKJV Today, in the whole world, the only kind of news celebrated by men is bad news. The reporters have also realised that people want bad news. So, they hardly report good things. If you listen to the news, read from the media or browse through the net, it is all about evil things happening all over the world. This is the trick of the enemy to cage the sons of men into sorrow and break the flow of joy in the lives of the people. The scripture we read today says, “good report makes the heart glad”. You must recognise the principle of a joyful life. It is a product of regular joyful reports (Proverbs 25:25). It is what you love to hear that your life will look like (Mark 4:24). you must know you are a product of what you are hearing. RECEIVE IT                

1 Samuel 1:12-18
Devotional: -“And she said,"Let your maidservant find favor in your sight." So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad” (V. 18) NKJV

    The word of God is the power of God. Through it, many great things have been done on earth. But as powerful as the word, as much as it will not work often when people don't receive it. We have heard the word of God in multiple times but not all are effective or working in our lives. One of the reasons is because we don't receive the word spoken to us. Saying Amen, is not completely a sign of receiving the word spoken to us.

 
   The word of God says, Hannah said, “Let your maid servant find favor in your sight”. So, she wiped her face and was no longer sad. She gave two responses to the word of God. The first was that, she received the word and the second thing was that, she acted by faith. You cannot receive the word and not act by faith (Hebrews 4:2). It is the action of faith that will make the word to work for you.
 
   To receive the word is to personify it for yourself or take it as though it is coming for you personally. Note that God’s word is written to all; though, the speaker is speaking to all in the service, whenever you receive the word personally, the word become yours. You will know when you have received a word by your actions of faith. Always receive the word and it will always work for you. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to always personify your word.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
