  DESIGNED TO SERVE GOD Psalm 139:13-18 Devotional:- “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!” (V. 16 NLT)   God designed and formed you to fit into what He wants you to do to serve Him. The intended function determines the form of a building, so also your life. You are the way you are because you were made for specific ministry (Ephesians 2:10) Our scripture today simply means nothing that happens in your life is insignificant. God will never waste any ability unless He intend to use it for His glory (1 Peter 2:9) Before God will give you any assignment, He must have packaged you for it. This packaging is what we call shape (Jeremiah 1:5). Let us look at the meaning of each letter in your shape. The ‘S’ represents Spiritual gifts. These are special God-empowered abilities for serving Him, giving only to believers (1 Cor. 2:14). These gift cannot be bought because they are given by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:11). RECEIVE IT                

1 Samuel 1:12-18
Devotional: -“And she said,"Let your maidservant find favor in your sight." So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad” (V. 18) NKJV

    The word of God is the power of God. Through it, many great things have been done on earth. But as powerful as the word, as much as it will not work often when people don't receive it. We have heard the word of God in multiple times but not all are effective or working in our lives. One of the reasons is because we don't receive the word spoken to us. Saying Amen, is not completely a sign of receiving the word spoken to us.

 
   The word of God says, Hannah said, “Let your maid servant find favor in your sight”. So, she wiped her face and was no longer sad. She gave two responses to the word of God. The first was that, she received the word and the second thing was that, she acted by faith. You cannot receive the word and not act by faith (Hebrews 4:2). It is the action of faith that will make the word to work for you.
 
   To receive the word is to personify it for yourself or take it as though it is coming for you personally. Note that God’s word is written to all; though, the speaker is speaking to all in the service, whenever you receive the word personally, the word become yours. You will know when you have received a word by your actions of faith. Always receive the word and it will always work for you. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to always personify your word.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
