  JOYFUL COMPANION  Luke 1:37-45 Devotional:- “For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy” (v.44) NKJV We must know that sooner or later, we will always look like the people we are moving with. God’s word says, he that walks with the wise shall be wise and the companion of fools shall be destroyed (Proverbs 13:20). This means that what we gain from the surroundings of our associates has a very strong influence upon our life. If a man walks with people who don’t know or appreciate joy, he may not also experience joy. We read about the visitation of Mary to Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist. Since two of them carry unique children of divine significance, they both have the Spirit of God in them. This brings about a joyful effect. RECEIVE IT                

1 Samuel 1:12-18
Devotional: -“And she said,"Let your maidservant find favor in your sight." So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad” (V. 18) NKJV

    The word of God is the power of God. Through it, many great things have been done on earth. But as powerful as the word, as much as it will not work often when people don't receive it. We have heard the word of God in multiple times but not all are effective or working in our lives. One of the reasons is because we don't receive the word spoken to us. Saying Amen, is not completely a sign of receiving the word spoken to us.

 
   The word of God says, Hannah said, “Let your maid servant find favor in your sight”. So, she wiped her face and was no longer sad. She gave two responses to the word of God. The first was that, she received the word and the second thing was that, she acted by faith. You cannot receive the word and not act by faith (Hebrews 4:2). It is the action of faith that will make the word to work for you.
 
   To receive the word is to personify it for yourself or take it as though it is coming for you personally. Note that God’s word is written to all; though, the speaker is speaking to all in the service, whenever you receive the word personally, the word become yours. You will know when you have received a word by your actions of faith. Always receive the word and it will always work for you. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to always personify your word.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
