SERVE HIM

SERVE HIM John 12:20-30  Devotional:- “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor” (V. 26) NKJV One of the demands of love is a sense of responsibility towards one another. A very sincere definition of love is responsibility. True love is known in willingness to serve each other. Your level of love for a man is determined by the level of commitment you have to his life and destiny. You cannot prove that you love someone without showing a strong level of responsibility to such. This means true love is embedded in serving one another. One of the strong teachings of Jesus to us, as His lover, is that we must be ready to lay down our lives in service to bless others, as He did for us. That is why He said, “He who loves his life shall lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life” (John 12:25). Unless we are willing to sow and be sown in service, we may not p...

THE POWER

THE POWER

Hebrews 4:11-16
Devotional: -“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (V. 12) NKJV

It is important we come to realize that what we call power is in the word of God. It is by the power of the word of God that God made the heavens and the earth (John 1:3; Hebrews 11:3). If the power in the word of God is what made the world, then, all we need to make our life good and fulfilled is in the word of God.

The Bible says “The word of God is powerful” To be powerful is to be full of power (Ecclesiastes 8:4). To be full of power means, it has ability to execute anything without delay or hindrance. The Spirit and the Power of the word have no rival. Nothing can stop it. The Bible says the word of God is life, in other word, it is living. (Hebrews 4:12) NLT. The Bible says the word of God is a Spirit (John 6:63).

So, whenever God speaks the word, the Spirit jump out of His mouth as a being to carry out what God is saying. That is why the word of God cannot fail. This word creates (Hebrew 11:3). This word heals (Psalms 107:20). The word controls (Proverbs 21:1). The word of God can bring what is scattered together (Ezekiel 37:7). Every word of God is with power (Psalms 1:37).

Friend, all we need to do is to allow the word of God in our heart and it will cause great change in our lives (Ezekiel 37:3-5). You need to learn to apply the word of God over your life. The word will restore what have been lost (1 Samuel 30:8; 18). It will renew your strength and your joy (Isaiah 40:31). The time has come for you to allow the word of God in your life. Then your life will begin to experience great changes. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, teach me to enjoy the power in your word
